In God's heart mercy always triumphs over judgment - He's truly willing none should perish, but all should come to repentance; turning from our way to His. Pastor Matt said it this morning in his timely message that sin is sin - it's just that some of the sin we see in SF shocks our moral conscience.

Whereby but for the GRACE of God go I - for many years I chose to dwell in darkness; but wow, God saved me just like the prodigal that wasn't even worthy to be His servant; but rather Jesus came and clothed me in His royal garment - my filthy rags in exchange.

Several years ago I regularly ministered on the streets of SF with Bob Johnson's City Ministries Int'l, that still invades the city's darkness - I'm sure his testimonies of salvations, healings and deliverances continues today.

Matt said it, it's our job as God's army to ''occupy until He comes" - occupation is an extreme form of aggression, another way to keep the enemy where he belongs - under our feet - ''when the Kingsdom of God suffers violence, the violent will take it by force." We're the Bride, spotless and white, but until He comes we wear army boots under our bridal gown!

In Ezekiel God destroyed the land and later lamented that He was just waiting for someone to stand in the gap and intercede - remember the old song ''I left my heart in San Francisco?'' So did God, it's His heart to save it and sometimes His hand doesn't move or refrain from moving unless His people PRAY...

If the prophetic word was given for the destruction of SFO then so be it,

but if it was given to test the hearts of his people, to see if

we will rise up and stand in the gap and get busy weeping, crying out,

interceding for God to change His mind then this would be a more biblical approach and

portray more of God's heart in this situation.

No body's saying that the prophetic word didn't come from God,

I think all we are saying (and there are many of us) is just because

God says He's sick of sin and depautury and is ready to destroy the city now,

we need to ask Him first these questions like God's friends Moses and Abraham:

1. God, if you do this, how's this going to make you look? Isn't it your kindness that leads people to repentance? Or does that

only apply when we're "sucking it up" and living good lives for you? Moses offered his own life up before He would let God destroy the people.

Are we willing to do that? NOW THAT WOULD BE BIBLICAL!

2. God, how about if we can prove to you that there are 50 righteous people, then will you spare SFO? If He said yes for Abraham then why won't he say yes to us?

3. God, what about the blood of your son. You poured ALL your wrath upon Him on the cross. Was that just temporary? Are you so full of

wrath again that even though we are standing in the gap, pleading the blood over our cities regardless of how wicked they are, are you going

to move into destruction mode again?

4. God, you've pleaded for us to "stand in the gap" and here we are. Does that not matter any more? If you're bent on the destruction of the

wicked (and the righteous - since we dwell together) then do you need me anymore? Maybe you don't need me anymore. If you destroy your righteous ones too how's that going to give you much GLORY! I thought you wanted to use us to shine your GLORY upon your whole earth?

So, is God tired of sin and blasphemy against His Son? Yea, probablly, but HE is still Love, Joy ,Peace, Patient, Kindness, Goodness, Gentleness, Faithfulness and is

the epitamy of Self control. If He requires me to live that way, through the fruit of His Spirit towards my brothers and sisters AND don't forget...MY
ENEMIES....then why would HE decide to be any different?

How about if we stop debating the prophetic word and start seeking the Lord to hold off on destroying the wicked cities of the earth. Let's ask him to hold off on destruction and instead pour out dreams, visions, revelations into the hearts of the wicked. If His KINDNESS leads us to repentance then how about if we pray for God to pour out more of His KINDNESS upon the wicked in ways they will understand His LOVE. After all JESUS IS THE DESIRE OF THE NATIONS. He's also the DESIRE OF SFO, they just don't know it yet. Let's ask God and put a heart of travail into His own people to be changed more into His image so those that are in rebellion will see our GOOD works and GLORIFY our FATHER IN HEAVEN!

Please GOD don't destroy SFO at least NOT ON MY WATCH!!

   Mercy triumphs over judgement... James 2:13 The word "triumph" means glory.

   Mercy releases the glory of God, that overcomes the judgement.

   It's our mandate to release the glory! It will be manifested through the mercy of the saints of God.

11-11 has been prophetically highlighted by a number of prophetic voices as a strategic time for this region. A powerful NorthState intercessor who oversees an intercessory army for this region, made a proclamation last week that should be noted... it came through the Book of Wisdom...



   "By the blessing of the upright a city is exalted, But by the mouth of the wicked it is torn down." Proverbs 11:11

I had just been speaking with a few regional leader recently, and said, "If catastrophe is coming, those who actively seek the Lord for this region must see it and take action. It's not good enough for only outsiders to see. We are the stewards who are responsible to take care of the people in times of tragedy, so if something is coming we must know about it... so we can properly stand in the gap to either avert it or lessen it's blow. We are the ones who would need to be prepared to feed the people. Where are the weeping prophets?"

The very next week, my husband and I were traveling down to Orangevale to meet with other regional leaders, and to prophetically bless the region. While traveling, I began to read aloud to my husband all the prophetic words that had been pouring in from around the nation, about earthquakes. Again with the cry of our hearts being... what are YOU really saying LORD? We need to hear YOUR heart!

I was reading page after page, and then came to the part about San Francisco... I choked up, and then began to weep. I was so overcome that I could barely finish reading above a whisper. My heart was broken.

   I was so grieved in my spirit over the thought of all those lives that could be lost, and that this could happen without warning.

After a while, I suddenly stopped crying just as abruptly as I started, then, I looked up... immediately I saw a green road sign that said....   "San Francisco 162 miles."

I was shocked, and then I heard clearly in my spirit... "These are the days of Jonah, and I'm sending a Jonah revival to them.

   Read Jonah chapter 1, verses 6 and 2 (162)."

Imagine, a natural road sign becoming a heavenly one! So.... I was shocked as I began to read Jonah 1:6, "So the captain approached him and said, "How is it that you are sleeping? Get up, call on your god. Perhaps your god will be concerned about us so that we will not perish."

   Wow, it's a call to the church, and a call to us personally... from those who are perishing!

It's the job of those who know the Lord to make supplication for those who do not... so that they "will not perish." Then I read verse 2, "Arise, go to Nineveh the great city, and (call out concerning it), for their wickedness has come up before me." It's interesting that the supplication came first before the preaching.

   The mandate for the church in this hour is simple...
   1. Wake up!
   2. Get up!
   3. Call on our God!
   4. Perhaps God will show up!
   5. Arise!
   6. Go!
   7. Call out to them with concern!

Even the wicked people of Ninevah were given one last chance. Bottom line is that the intercessors/prophets in California need to see/hear the secrets of the Lord regarding our own land, or we will never be able to stand in the gap properly... to be a solution! We must ask and then declare the word of the Lord.
   So, Lord, we agree together... we need to hear, we need to see what you're doing. Show your mercy!

[revival-fire] Have We Lost it?

I will confess – some of the Revival Fire posts have me boggled and scratching my head. I do not want to argue nor do I feel Revival Fire is the place for that, yet let me make some clear understandings.

First Off – It does not matter how well liked a person is, who they know, what they have done previously. It does not matter who supports or endorses them. We are not selling a book or CD here, we are talking about Cities. If it does not line up with the WORD OF GOD, then it is of no affect. Stop talking about who knows who and who they are – we do not fear man but we fear GOD! This word should not have carelessly been sent out, and even then, it should be stirring us to pray, not defend. Those of you who feel it is of a solid nature, get on your knees and off of your computer.

Second – We cannot stand firmly on one section of scripture and negate the rest. God understands His word and brings revelation with the whole Bible in mind, not just the part that fits into our agenda. He also understands Kingdom order and the function of the Bride.

THIRD – I have not said that I feel this word is not from God, I may disagree however on where we go from here. I do not feel that it is the FINAL WORD FROM GOD in any way shape or form. I do believe that we can move and change the heart of God. Yet all I see from this word is that the CHURCH NEEDS TO WAKE UP!

Why was Sodom and Gomorrah doomed? Was it there sin? Does God not see all sin the same. It is all equal in the eyes of God. So why then would one cities be greater than another's?

No – Sodom did not burn because of their unrighteousness, but it was due to the fact that the CRIES of the Unrighteous outweighed the CRIES of the Righteous. This word has more to do with the church than it does with the UNSAVED!

Jesus said that we are the SALT of the earth. WHO? You and I, the CHURCH, the Disciples. And if salt loses its saltiness then it is thrown out and trampled under the foot of men.

Where has the church been in the last decade? The most ineffective religious structure. We have been thrown out and trampled under foot and God is trying to AWAKEN His bride to be what we were always supposed to be – SALT – LIGHT!

This is not a word for the unsaved of doom and judgment but a word to the BRIDE

Where is the cry of the righteous?

To much that has been given much is required!

God may be trying to get our attention.

Do I feel San Fransico will be judged? Yeah – one day, the whole earth will be judged one day – BUT TODAY IS NOT THAT DAY!

So wake up Bride

Stop running scared and start being the warriors God created you to be.

Let's stop the nonsense and start impacting the world

Thank you Lord for warning us through all your prophets that

you want to bring judgement on SF.

We understand that you are grieved at our world and I'm sure LA

and NY could use some severe Judgement too. Let's not forget Seattle Lord

lot's of witch craft there, Reno and Las Vegas, gambling, prostitution and the likes. My prayer dear Jesus is that you will spare our cities now, ALL of them!! Give us a chance to evangelize them more, bring your GLORY

there through the OUTPOURINGS and our RIGHTEOUS LIVES.

Merciful God I pray that you will change your mind once again and begin to release more of your KINDNESS upon the whole earth. We know that it's your KINDNESS that will lead people to repentace and we know that's your

ultimate end, repentance. Remember the sacrifice of your SON, my PRECIOUS LORD JESUS and hear our cries LORD for I know you have quite a remnant through out the earth crying out for your LOVE to penetrate every city

and state, country and nation.

Look once again on SF. And see those that love you so much and those that are endeavoring to

lay their lives down for you there.

Spare San Fransico now and bring revival.

In this I will NEVER stop asking most RIGHTEOUS JUDGE.

The day I met them, they told me how God had shown them both a vision of San Francisco being destroyed with an "air strike". The first thought that came to my mind was that I was about to die & I wanted to be with my wife when I did. So I ran out of the house & as I started to cross the street, I heard an explosion. I looked up in the sky & saw a bright yellow-orange bomb burst. I then woke up from the dream, totally shaken up. I should have sent this out last night, but I didn't realize until I got something today from someone
that revival fire was on my e-mail contact list. I got an invite from a friend to join, reunion connect. I was curious

Christian friends in San Jose. I was talking to people in one house & my
wife was across the street; talking to people in another house. All of a
sudden, I heard a voice say: "it's about to hit". Immediately I knew
that an nuclear bomb was about to explode. The first thought that came
to my mind was that I was about to die & I wanted to be with my wife
when I did. So I ran out of the house & as I started to cross the
street, I heard an explosion. I looked up in the sky & saw a bright
yellow-orange bomb burst. I then woke up from the dream, totally shaken
up. Over the years, I never shared the dream with anyone but my wife.

Dear List:

There has been more than one response hinting at 'not throwing stones' -- none of the responses were doing that.

There is also an assumption that things haven't been searched through.

Most people are reacting to the Published word approved by the giver. Judgment is judgment. A persons compassion is not evidense that the word was to be received.

As a responsible Believer and Leader; I must follow the biblical standard that all prophetic words are to be tested.

I also am concerned at the stance for Old Testament living verses the New Testament freedom.

There have been several Biblical responses to this Word and other words of Judgment that need to be reread.

The intercessors should be praying already, that is their job.

My first post.

Having read all of the SF material, I am pleased with the trend as we
prayerfully consider the message. It was a wake up call for me to seek the
face of Jesus more completely and let Him judge me in case I hold a
responsibility in this matter.
I have been praying that God would connect Market Street to His Kingdom
of Heaven. I walked Market Street a few months ago and went up Geary
Boulevard. God needs me to call out His Heart for San Fransisco and the Bay
Area. I have asked Him to cover the area with His angels to help those who
minister there with obedience to the Holy Spirit.
I would hope that San Fransisco would become a Nineveh and not a Sodom.
I think that falling on our face to repent is always a good idea. It is
probably a good first response, but as soon as possible will work.
How can we defend ourselves before the righteousness of Jesus? I
believe God looks for us to humble ourselves before Him at this time and at
all times.
O Jesus, what is your desire for San Fransisco and the Bay Area. Let
your atmosphere change the hearts of the people.

Earthquakes, Calamities & Judgments in the end times!

I couldn't help but notice the posts regarding the "earthquake judgment"... maybe I missed an original post, and I hope I am responding with wisdom and not ignorance, but one of the things that has come up over and over again in the Body has been the tendancy to move towards an "Old Testament" prophetic model, rather than a New Testament one. Jesus operated out of a New Testament model... and as a result the warnings about the destruction of Jerusalem would come first with specific signs and an ability for the righteous (or those who heard) to flee. Apparent judgments that offer no such warnings really are suspect, because they simply produce fear. God authors nothing with random fear.

Much of what occurs in the earth is simply the result of living in a fallen world. Earthquakes, eruptions, wrecks, etc.... are all a part of living in a fallen world... indeed, even death is a result of that. But we MUST always look to the basis of what it was that Jesus came to bring. Remember it was Jesus who said He "didn't come into the world to condemn the world, but that the world would be saved" .... He is not willing that ANY should perish. If we operate out of the "WILL" of God rather than judgment, we find that it must evoke a response in believers, something that would actually make us change and reach our world and not simply talk about how God is going to judge it.

We have been given the most formiddable answer to reach the world... it's called the Gospel. But we so often would rather picket, sign petitions, and generate fear to evoke some sort of "righteous anger" to alleviate our inadequacy at reaching our world.

Last year I was in Virginia Beach (April 2007).... I specifically remember standing in front of a woman who is an incredible lover of Jesus and saying, "Laura, this year there will be NO hurricanes that will hit the Virginia coastline anywhere, because Jesus loves you!" In early October Laura called me to tell me about a "prophetic word" that was indicating severe judgment to the area through a hurricane that would come within weeks. The word was given by a well known leader in the area. After I listened to her and the word, I offered a "curt" reply. "It's not going to happen Laura, no way!" The word is riddled with producing fear in the Christian community and besides, God loves you and told me that wouldn't happen! No hurricanes hit the Virginia coastline in 2007 (something that is fairly rare).

When Katrina hit New Orleans, MANY said it was judgment. In fact what Jesus told me was that He was NOT in the calamity, but rather in the remedy. To this day we are witnessing a horrible catastrophic event that hit our nation and plummeted part of it into an almost third world existence in parts, and the church knows little of it. We have precious friends who are busy working down there to bring about "Jesus" there... rather than simply shaking their heads and saying "tsk, tsk... God judged the place!" They have family there... as many of us have friends and family in many other parts of the world.

It's easy to prophecy a catastrophe... it's quite something else to prophecy a remedy!

A few years ago the Lord gave me a word regarding an earthquake that would occur from San Diego through the Pacific Northwest. The word didn't come as a result of a vision or dream, it was a personal, tangible visitation with Jesus that lasted several hours. I will include that word here in part (it was released on Elijah List)... some recently have spoken to me regarding that word, wondering what I thought of it now. They ask as if maybe I didn't hear right. I don't really have to question it... it may not happen for several years. Jesus in mercy released a word regarding the destruction of the Temple and Jerusalem in 33AD that didn't take place till 70AD. There were specifics given to let people escape... "when you see the armies surrounding Jerusalem... get up... leave right then!!!" When Jerusalem was surrounded by armies... the Romans gave 2 days for the people to leave unharmed... after that, a brutal slaughter ensued.... but it was almost 40 years later! Word had to get out so that people knew when to flee!

FROM THE POST ON ELIJAH LIST:
The Lord Is Not In The Catastrophe But In The Remedy

In October 2005, during a visitation with the Lord in Coeur d’Alene Idaho the Lord indicated to me several cataclysmic events in the near future, although not necessarily specific to 2006. He referred me to (1 Kings 19:11-13)

So He said, "Go forth, and stand on the mountain before the LORD." And behold, the LORD was passing by! And a great and strong wind was rending the mountains and breaking in pieces the rocks before the LORD; but the LORD was not in the wind. And after the wind an earthquake, but the LORD was not in the earthquake. {12} And after the earthquake a fire, but the LORD was not in the fire; and after the fire a sound of a gentle blowing. {13} And it came about when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle, and went out and stood in the entrance of the cave. And behold, a voice came to him and said, "What are you doing here, Elijah?"

The indicators are “wind, earthquake, and fire… and then a gentle blowing.” The events which will be as dramatic as Katrina was in 2005 will be through wind (like hurricanes & tornadoes), earthquake (I believe this will be from San Diego through the Pacific Northwest with a precursor warning 6.49 quake, followed by a 8.7 quake within days… there seemed to be some indication of a smaller quake in the New England states as well, although not nearly as catostrophic), fire (like meteors, electrical surges, and fire enhanced by dry conditions, I believe one location is Chicago), and finally the gentle blowing.

The Lord was not and is not in the wind, the earthquake, or the fire. That is important for believers to understand or we will fall into judging. Jeremiah 29:11 says “For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” The Lord is in the “gentle blowing” which can also be translated “a peaceful sound of a proclaiming thunder.” The Lord is in the final move… it is the Voice of God flowing through the lives of His people. It is the message of (Romans 10:14-18)

How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? {15} And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!" {16} But not all the Israelites accepted the good news. For Isaiah says, "Lord, who has believed our message?" {17} Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ. {18} But I ask: Did they not hear? Of course they did: "Their voice has gone out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world."

The message (The Voice... the Gentle Blowing) is us… God’s people. The purpose of God dealing with Elijah in this way was so that he would not miss his visitation. (Luke 19:44) “…you did not recognize the time of your visitation." The day of visitation is the day where the Lord releases His Glory through His Church… where we become the resource to the earth of salvation, because we carry the source, who is God, in our lives! (1 Peter 2:12)

Keep your behavior excellent among the Gentiles, so that in the thing in which they slander you as evildoers, they may on account of your good deeds, as they observe them, glorify God in the day of visitation.

Elijah failed to accomplish all that God had given him to do and the mantle passed in double portion to Elisha. The Elisha generation is where we are now. It is a generation that has heard the reports of God’s goodness and power but who are also willing to step under that mantle and accomplish the greater works of God as an indicator to this world that God is True and all men are liars (Romans 3:4).

After events occur… the “Voice” will go forth in “Faith”. The first ones into places that have been devastated will be the believers who will carry the Grace and Mercy of God with the evidence of His Power. Although the tragedy will be great … there will be many who will be saved and even raised from the dead out of these cataclysmic events. It truly will be The Churches finest hour. Indication was given to me that places that now honored the ministry of the Holy Spirit’s power will remain intact to become places of refuge during those events. Other places will be destroyed where there was a focus on keeping people happy, rather than making a resting place for God! (Isaiah 66:1) Thus says the LORD, "Heaven is My throne, and the earth is My footstool. Where then is a house you could build for Me? And where is a place that I may rest?"

Soon after that word came out I was in San Francisco. I wept.... because Jesus LOVES San Francisco. I was in a church that fiery hot with worship and the Lord came on me prior to speaking... He spoke very clearly and said "but this (meaning the church I was in) will be a house of Rahab and not one block will move during that time! It will remain open, though there is rubble all around!"

Grace is far more important than judgment. Mercy ALWAYS triumphs over judgment. I was recently made aware of this when a leader prophesied pure judgment on a fellow believer indicating he heard it from the Father. Holy Spirit wasn't around... Jesus, the advocate, our lawyer was nowhere to be found in his word. Simply raw profound ungraced failure towards a man. That's not the Papa God I know... I can blatantly and willingly say, that's simply not PAPA GOD AT ALL. That is wound up in the emotions of God you must do something, so therefore this is what it will be. The reality of San Francisco is that it's not in the period of Sodom and Gomorroh... it's in the place of Grace... and those who carry Grace must begin to step in and be the answer, not by picketing, not by legislating... but by proclaiming the freedom of Jesus that is born out of LOVE for ALL those whom Jesus desires to have relationship with.

Well... I probably went too long... and I'm sure I will stir some response... but ... there you go!!!

Concern the prophetic word about CA. I have sent the Prophetic e-mail to 400 Intercessors and Prayer Warriors on the front line, I am not sure as to how many are on the other lines could be up to 5000. As a Prayer Warrior I don't have time to wait to see if this word is true or not. The Kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.

In the days of Noah they were probably trying to understand the rain that was coming.

When the word came to Nineveh the people believed God, and proclaimed a fast and put on sackcloth, from the greatest of them even to the least of them.

I am not sure what this prophetic word is suppose look like:

We have had fires all over CA (Is this it or shall we look for another)

We had an earthquake in LA last week (Is this it or shall we look for another)

The governor has drop our state employee wages below state min ($8.00) to Fed min. (6.55) (is this it or shall we look for another)

Re:[revival-fire] prophets

Everyone, though we are told to judge prophesy, let’s be very careful about “stoning” the prophets! From what I have learned about Wendy Alec, she is not a person given to spouting out judgment, but one who loves the lost. And as someone just said, we need to be careful about being critical of her.

I hope everyone read Joan’s second posting today. She put in a word from Steve Schultz from the Elijah List and a word from Chuck Pierce about how to receive or act upon prophetic words that seem a judgment or warning. Good words from mature men of God.

As some have said, we need to react to the word by interceding for San Francisco. Father’s heart is for souls. Our hearts need to be for souls to be won and to reach out to the lost. Bless those that minister in San Francisco and pray more will be called.

I noticed no one mentioned the really “good” parts of Wendy’s prophesy. Some beautiful words about what God wanted to do in L.A., in Redding, San Francisco, and throughout California.

I hope we hear from our revival fire friends in the U.K.
