RECENT PRESS For  the most recent Reno Gazette Journal Article on the Outpouring Click here INFORMATION outpouring.tv Reno Outpouring Healing Class Healing Testimony Friday night, you (Wendi) laid hands on my throat; you prayed for healing; then healing for my voice, throat and thyroid. I have been suffering from a terrible cold and cough that has lasted until now.  I have been to the doctor twice; The doctor put me on a strong dose of antibiotics, more cough syrup with codeine, and an inhaler and he shared that I may have bronchitis or a touch of pneumonia.  He then gave me a referral for a chest x-ray in case I was not better by Monday (today) and also asked me to call him and he would prescribe steroids. After you prayed for me I felt o.k.; but the periodic cough did not go away; I spent Friday night covering myself in prayer and claimed healing and wanted the cough to go away.  After service on Sunday; our group went back to the condo, had lunch, a teaching and began to mediate on a song our group leader had for us.  With my eyes closed; I was listening and soaking.  All of the sudden, I had a huge sensation I was going to choke; I ran into the restroom. I spent several minutes on my knees in front of the stool; expelling congestion.  I could not stop.  It kept coming.  My chest was burning, on fire, I was crying, my body was violently shaking and choking up the congestion.  When it was all over I could not believe the amount that was in me and removed all at once.  I could breathe; the pressure from my chest was relieved; I was able to take deep breaths.  I immediately knew it was a healing!!!  I called Lena (our group leader) in and shared it with her; someone had to see the gross amount of congestion; I felt it was a living proof of Gods power to heal.   By the way Lena who is a retired R.N.; shared she thought I had touch pneumonia! Praise God I am healed!  Thank you for your prayer. Bless you; love and prayers! Burg  For more healing testimonies click here Upcoming Meetings 09/19/08, Reno, NV Reno Outpouring 10/09/08,  Reno, NV  Reno Outpouring 10/10/08, Reno, NV  Reno Outpouring Dear Eric, Starting in early 2005 prophetic men and women such as Jeff Jansen, Mario Murillo, Teresa Dedman, Sherry Tait, and Bill Lackie have spoken prophetically about me ministering in Reno, Nevada.  Since the 1980's there have been prophetic words about the Spirit of God moving down the Truckee River from Lake Tahoe, past Truckee, and into Reno.  Interestingly, although I have never lived in the City of Reno I was ordained here in 1982.  I have always been committed in my life to living out the destiny that God has for me and am humbled by the opportunity to minister in this region. As this Outpouring, this apostolic mission to the region, continues I want to continue teaching on apostolic leadership.  As we studied last week apostles are "sent ones" who are on various missions.  Paul was going to the gentiles while Peter was off to the Jews.  The purpose of an apostle is to change the culture of a region or country.  God often uses signs, wonders, and miracles to identify those on apostolic missions and to help effect changes.   "The signs of a true apostle were performed among you with all perseverance, by signs and wonders and miracles." 2 Corinthians 12:12 Apostles work with others to complete their missions differently than other five fold ministers although they often work in all five ministries to carry out their purpose.  It is important for apostles to train people up and then release them to serve in apostolic missions.  This differs from the teacher who may feel that learning is a life long task and end in itself.  It differs from the pastor in that the pastor may want to protect his sheep and not release them on missions with uncertain possibilities.  On the other hand, Jesus called us into action: "The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field." Luke 10:2 I am interested in training up and releasing leaders into our region to see the Kingdom of God come to all areas of this region.  Currently, there are many forces coming against this move of God and we need to stand firm in our resolve.  One of the greatest enemies of any move of God is the Spirit of intimidation.  I encourage you to not be intimidated but be ready to be trained and released in this great cause.  "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms." They have a very nice church seats about 500, they have their own band, a lead Pastor, with four other Pastors  They have about 50 cooks and chefs. We were served lunch (hamburgers, hot dogs, Chicken, potato salad, corn on cob, and cake. Coffee, water and KOOL-AID.) The word was good, the music good we had a great day.   Now before I went... I was praying God let us pray for as many people as we can. Then I made my plans.. as to how I would move from person to person to pray. Well my plan started good.... I prayed for about 7 people then service begin. Wow,out of the heart of God... the lead Pastor had them to bring in some white paper and make a Fire Tunnel. Next (God's plan) he ask if we would take a place in the Tunnel and lay hands on every person in the building.   My plans out the window and God's plan in the house.   My brother (one of the Pastor), my daughter and myself  work the end of the Fire Tunnel (total about 10 others). Inmates and family were touched by the Power of God. People were prophesied over, word of knowledge was given to some. God moved in that place.   Monday Labor Day, we went back for a visit with my brother...he was telling us that on Sunday the power of God came down and he prophesy, gave word of knowledge. The guys send address and prayer requests... they are asking for books to read. Any books about the Holy Spirit and/or Dreams. Excited and on Fire.... ISP.   I talk with my brother earlier in the week and he said Revival has broke out in ISP (Indiana State Prison Michigan City)   In the last days he will Pour Out His Spirit on all Flesh. Pour Out God, Pour Out. This was prophesied by Joel years and years ago.....but I get to see it....Yes. King of Glory bring your Glory. Hi from All Nations in Oklahoma City

One of the greatest revivalists of all times was Charles Finney, father of "the Second Great Awakening" in the U.S. He believed that there were "keys" to revival--principles that if followed will always bring results. The book Revival Lectures contains the main keys that Finney had discovered. But where did they come from. From the Word, of course. If we press in to really understand God's ways in His Word, we will uncover keys to revival in our time, keys we have failed to see or saw and then lost. God will lead us right to these keys, if we will let Him lead us and give Him time to do that.

We at All Nations have been in search of these keys for years and keep finding more, as I am sure many of you have. One way we do this is through verse by verse Bible study. Jesus Told Us How to Get free From Any Situation

John 8:31-32 (previous verses added for context)

(7:24: "Do not judge according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.")

23: And He said to them, "You are from beneath. I am from above. You are of this world. I am not of this world."

24:" I said therefore to you that y ou will die in your sin. For if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sin."

25: Then they said to Him, "Who are You?" And Jesus said to them, "Even the same that I said to you from the beginning.
26: I have many things to say and to judge concerning you, but He who sent Me is true, and I speak to the world those things that I have heard from  Him."
27: They did not understand that He was speaking to them about the Father.

28: Then Jesus said to them, "When you have lifted up the Son of man, then you will know that I am He and that I do nothing of Myself but speak these things as My Father has taught Me.
29: And He who sent Me is with Me. The Father has not left Me alone, for I always do those things that please Him.

   We see later that Jesus is referring to the bondage of sin. Well, that is a big subject. Ultimately the bondage of sin for the human race came in the garden when death came into the whole race to come through Adam's turning away from God and His protection. What brings freedom from this bondage? Knowing the truth about the Son of God and His death and resurrection for them. This freedom would soon be available to the people Jesus is speaking to here . . . and to all people.

   Here Jesus is speaking to people who have in some way believed on Him. (And there may be others who don't believe but are still standing around in the area.) If Jesus is speaking to only the "new believers," their faith may not have been very deep (or He may have been giving them something to pass on to unbelievers). In any case, Jesus is trying to20lead people into more truth, or deeper truth—the truth about Him that sets people free. Here is how people come to faith in Jesus that saves them, that frees them: "If you continue in my word, then you will be My disciples indeed. And you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free." Those who keep pressing into the Word, following Jesus, will become strong followers of Him. They will find truth that will set them free. If a person will press in to find the real truth about Jesus, he or she will find it. Seek and you will find. It is a promise of God—a principle of the Kingdom—that will last forever. Keep digging into the words from God—the Word of God—and you will find the truth that will set you free.

   This is such a great principle for all time. It gets us to the truth that brings us through the door of the Kingdom of God, bringing us into new life in Jesus the Son of God. And it brings us everything we need in this life and beyond this life. It shows us the way to victory in any problem we will ever fin d ourselves in. If we press in, we will find the truth that sets us free—from the bondage that sin brought into the world and from any bondage we encounter afterward. When we seek God and dig into His Word, we find the specific truth we need to set us free from whatever we need freedom from. Some believers receive that first truth about Jesus that sets them free, but then they stop, living a life of bondage like slaves, when in truth they are children of the Living God. We will look more deeply into these things in the next lesson.

 I just studied what happened (in ths issue) in American History.  It is good to be informed and reminded that this was a hard fought for freedom.  If we fight as hard for marriage, the unborn and other issues of our nation as these women did for our right to vote, then the Kimgdom of Heaven shall surely be manifest in this nation!!   hellen

The World would say "don't mix politics with religion"

but I say " We've been commissioned to subdue this land with the Glory of God and that includes having a majority say in who runs our country, (that's politics)."

So, Go...and make a difference in the voting booths!  Women this includes YOU...ESPECIALLY YOU!! Here's why....READ BELOW!

WHY WOMEN SHOULD VOTE ?  This is the story of our Grandmothers and Great-grandmothers; they lived only 90 years ago. Remember, it was not until 1920 that women were granted the right to go to the polls and vote. The women were innocent and defenseless, but they were jailed nonetheless for picketing the White House, carrying signs asking for the vote. And by the end of the night, they were barely alive. Forty prison guards wielding clubs and their warden's blessing went on a rampage against the 33 women wrongly convicted of 'obstructing sidewalk traffic.' (Lucy Burns) They beat Lucy Burns, chained her hands to the cell bars above her head and left her hanging for the night, bleeding and gasping for air. (Dora Lewis) They hurled Dora Lewis into a dark cell, smashed her head against an iron bed and knocked her out cold. Her cellmate, Alice Cosu, thought Lewis was dead and suffered a heart attack. Additional affidavits describe the guards grabbing, dragging, beating, choking, slamming, pinching, twisting and kicking the women. Thus unfolded the 'Night of Terror' on Nov. 15, 1917, when the warden at the Occoquan Workhouse in Virginia ordered his guards to teach a lesson to the suffragists imprisoned there because they dared to picket Woodrow Wilson's White House for the right to vote. For weeks, the women's only water came from an open pail. Their food--all of it colorless slop--was infested with worms. (Alice Paul) When one of the leaders, Alice Paul, embarked on a hunger strike, they tied her to a chair, forced a tube down her throat and poured liquid into her until she vomited. Some women won't vote this year because- -why, exactly? We have carpool duties? We have to get to work? Our vote doesn't matter? It's raining? Last week, I went to a sparsely attended screening of HBO's new movie 'Iron Jawed Angels.'  It is a graphic depiction of the battle these women waged so that I could pull the curtain at the polling booth and have my say. I am ashamed to say I needed the reminder. All these years later, voter registration is still my passion. But the actual act of voting had become less personal for me, more rote. Frankly, voting often felt more like an obligation than a privilege. Sometimes it was inconvenient. My friend Wendy, who is my age and studied women's history, saw the HBO movie, too. When she stopped by my desk to talk about it, she looked angry. She was--with herself. 'One thought kept coming back to me as I watched that movie,' she said. 'What would those women think of the way I use, or don't use, my right to vote? All of us take it for granted now, not just younger women, but those of us who did seek to learn.' The right to vote, she said, had become valuable to her 'all over again.' HBO released the movie on video and DVD . I wish all history, social studies and government teachers would include the movie in their curriculum I want it shown on Bunco night, too, and anywhere else women gather. I realize this isn't our usual idea of socializing, but we are not voting in the numbers that we should be, and I think a little shock therapy is in order. It is jarring to watch Woodrow Wilson and his cronies try to persuade a psychiatrist to declare Alice Paul insane so that she could be permanently institutionalized. And it is inspiring to watch the doctor refuse. Alice Paul was strong, he said, and brave. That didn't make her crazy. The doctor admonished the men: 'Courage in women is often mistaken for insanity.' Please, if you are so inclined, pass this on to all the women you know. We need to get out and vote and use this right that was fought so hard for by these very courageous women. Whether you vote democratic, republican or independent party - remember to vote. Hi Sidney
You could have him look for a Celebrate Recovery program in the churches near him.   This ministry was started at Saddleback church and has spread all overour nation and by now, probably the world.  It is a good solid program, from my experience.  It has separate men's and women's group for many areas of addiction and codependency.

I know a man who is looking to go into a christian AA program to get into, does anyone know of any I could recommend to him? I am near Fallon, Nevada. He used to be in one in silver springs but was asked to leave and wont be allowed to go back. thank you sidney.
