[revival-fire] Your Community and His Kingdom! - Part 2

******* REVIVAL FIRE!!! *******

We believe every Christian in Napa Valley is called to arise into their destiny to impact our community with the presence and power of Christ. Napa Arise is committed to participating in that destiny process with individuals, groups and congregations.

Here are some of the VEHICLES we have in place to see this mission accomplished:

United Prayer - listening, and agreeing with God is foundational for discovering His will and establishing His kingdom "on earth as it is in heaven" both in lives and the community. We have various prayer groups, events and trainings throughout the year, including the establishment of an ongoing "House of Prayer" to be launched in 2006-2007.

Healing Prayer Teams trained and mobilized including the weekly Healing Rooms of Napa Valley open every Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to Noon and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Prayer for physical, emotional, mental, financial, relational, and spiritual healing happens through these teams.

Deliverance Teams minister freedom from addictions and oppressions for individuals and groups and then release and envision them for God's purposes.

Care Expressions:
-Bags of Hope: We fill backpacks with age specific items to meet the needs of foster children as they are released by Child Protective Services into the foster home. This relieves foster parents to immediately focus on the child instead of having to go out for the needed supplies.

-Restoring Hope: We collect new and gently used furniture to provide for foster parents and birth parents as they are setting up household to receive the child into their custody.

-Christian Volunteer Networks: We will serve as a hub for Christians to mobilize a presence of Christ by doing volunteer help for elderly, school students and the needy. These networks will bridge Christians into the community by partnering with community agencies and education entities and will be forming in 2007.

Communication through an e-mail database, a quarterly newsletter and a developing web page is now being developed to help envision, equip and recruit Christians into destiny developing opportunities.

Resources: CDs, DVDs, books, tapes, websites, conferences, etc. are being gathered to be made available to strengthen the body of Christ for God's purposes in and through them.

Partnerships with various congregations and strategic ministries throughout Napa County, the San Francisco Bay Area and California are formed to accomplish prayer, ministry and care that will impact and transform communities.
God has a unique destiny for Napa Valley itself. He wants to reveal His nature in and through our county. Over the years God has been showing us the redemptive purposes of Napa Valley as well as the hindrances to our destiny. We are committed to share these insights with local pastors and leaders so we can work together to disarm the hindrances and participate with God to release His destiny through Napa Valley. – Bobbi Hicks

I've been thinking that I should share the following with all of you that are interested. I've been serving my Lord in Napa, CA regarding moral issues for about 35 yrs. It started when God gave me a 'big burden' to stand against the new Planned Parenthood sex ed program that was being 'snuck' into our schools. I did not know where to start but He connected with well trained godly leaders in other communities. My life has never been the same, because I didn't know then that we were in the End Times. Since then I've been a front liner on many moral issues and worked with numerous churches. Our evangelical pastors' group had stopped and God led me to give them some booster help to restart. I organized a free breakfast gathering at a nice restaurant. I helped them to organize some leadership and presented them also with info about the dire curriculum situation.

It gave me favor also in working with them for these many years--including our current elections. My group is effectively working with about 17 local churches. We also have Healing Rooms under the headship of Spokane, and a Pregnancy Resource Center and yearly Life Chains and some united gatherings for prayer and worship and teaching--at various churches and at our fairgrounds. Pastors unite for regular prayer and separately so do their wives. My prayer is that we ALL will continually UNITE more and more with the Body of Christ in our communities for His Glory! Many of us also freely go to other areas of CA to unite for prayer and teaching.
God also led a particular person in recent years to form the following organization (Napa Arise) and she also just started a dynamic 7 week training for our spiritual community to unite and strengthen us even more in advancing His Kingdom here! These meetings are packed and have a wonderful excitement--PTL! Ask God how he would like to use YOU and do not despise small beginnings!

A name plays a vital role in describing and identifying a person or entity. God changed the name of key leaders throughout the scriptures in order to shift them into His purpose over their life. Think of Abram (lofty father) to Abraham (father of multitudes), Jacob (deceiver) to Israel (prince), or Simon (hearing) to Peter (rock).

We felt a stirring from God to change the name of Napa Valley Christian Prayer and Care (NVCPC)
–a practical, functional name (which many had trouble remembering and keeping the initials straight) to NAPA ARISE, a prophetic declaration with God's sound from heaven for this new season.
We've been a non-profit quietly serving the body of Christ and Napa community for the past several years in the areas of unified prayer and care. We believe God is shifting us to "come out of the shadows" and be strategic in our purpose, partnerships and communication. We will continue to unite Christians, to facilitate prayer, and to generously release care to the sick, widowed and orphaned, but with an increased sound of God's heart to bring individuals and groups not only to freedom, but dominion! (God's reigning presence.)

The primary mission of NAPA ARISE is to Call the Generations into their Destiny. What does this mean? We're not exactly sure, but we're going to have a joyous adventure with God to find out and do it. We do know what this adventure involves:
Celebrating and valuing all ages - the generations. God loves the whole family. The same Holy Spirit that lives in the "born again" 40 year old, also lives in the surrendered 4 year old or 94 year old. Each has a powerful purpose in God.
Seeing Creator God's purpose (destiny) for individuals, congregations, the whole church, cities and communities.
Declaring and speaking out these destinies; fervently praying for them to be released and established.
Ministering to and through people to root out hindrances, pull down strongholds, destroy lies, and overthrow patterns that keep people and communities from God-given purpose.
Laying Holy foundations and building up, in love, people and places that will reflect God & bring Him glory.

[revival-fire] Miracles In Medellin, Colombia Police Station - Dews - 9/22/08

MIRACLES IN MEDELLIN

Incredible to stand before 2000+ hungry, passionate, spirit-filled, actual believers who have come expecting to see God move in their lives. That was what we experienced recently on our last weekend in Medellin, Colombia. And, God did not disappoint.
** A woman who had not been able to feel anything in her face for the past 5 years, got all her feeling back.
** A 12 year old boy, born with a deformity in his foot which caused it to turn in and fold over such that he had problems walking and couldn't run at all, healed and running at full speed on the platform.
** A man on crutches in another church, injured kneecap and torn tendons, facing several more months of re-hab, couldn't put any weight on the leg. I told him he would walk w/o the crutches before the 2 days we were to be there were up. That night he walked and the next day came back w/o the crutches.
** So many healings it was impossible to count at times, and so many healings when we activated the people as they prayed for each other in the congregation.

We saw an unusual amount of demonic activity this time. This is what one team member reflected on: "… there is a big difference between learning about deliverance and being there seeing the manifestations themselves. I was standing behind this guy with my hands on his shoulders praying for him when Heath began praying for him also. She looked at me and mouthed the words, "He's going to go down."

"No problem. The chair is right behind him." But, when he hit the chair, he immediately jumped out of it, fell to the floor, turned and began slithering like a serpent and thrashing about with his arms and legs. Fortunately, Heath was there and started the deliverance process.

One thing I noticed was that the spirit she was dealing with seemed
to "understand" her English and partially responded and complied to her commands. Carol and an interpreter eventually showed up and proceeded to complete the deliverance. It was quite an experience and it was a privilege for me to watch you both at work.

Initially, I was thinking, "Why didn't you tell us in training that
something like this might happen." Truthfully, you did warn us that
manifestations might occur. Upon further reflection, I'm not sure you could "prepare" someone for the real thing. It is something one has to experience. Then, the steps of deliverance take on much greater meaning!"

GOD MOVES "OUTSIDE THE CHURCH"

Wonderful miracles in the church, but more of the fun happened outside the church meetings. When we were there in April, one church had started an outreach to children from a very poor area. Almost none of them are able to go to school, so there is not much hope of things being different in their lives w/o the intervention of the church. And the difference in these kids was incredible. They now showed and glowed with the love of God. Truly an honor to be with them, as we reached out to them, and they reached out to us. Then to go to a ministry that ministers to 20+ kids ages 2-12, who are at high risk because their mothers are prostitutes. A great ministry that is doing such an important work. We spontaneously took up an offering, without knowing anything of their needs – it just seemed like a good thing to do. Turns out, they were in need that very moment. The head of the ministry went to a back room and broke down in tears of gratitude. And God's power came as an 8 year old girl received her sight in her right eye when a couple of the team members prayed for her!!

We then went from kids at high risk, to the people who were to protect them from such high risk – the main police station. One of the people in the church we had been in back in April is an officer with the anti-terriorism division and she had arranged for us to come in and minister to anyone who would come. Thirty five officers out of the 250 showed up. We were told to keep it pretty low key, and we did – but God came anyway. Many touched, healed emotionally from much stress and many physical healings. She then told us that some of the officers didn't know the Lord, so we gave an altar call – and 15 people were added to the Kingdom!!

This is how one team member described it: "The police station was the most powerful event of the trip in my opinion. We had no idea what to expect. It was such an incredible honor to be asked to come speak to and pray with these people. They work one of the most dangerous jobs in the world, police in what has been the most dangerous city in the world. Many of these people have bullseyes on their foreheads. It really fills you with a sense of who the heck am I to be here. We saw some incredible healings here. I prayed for one man who told me he had been in a firefight a few years before, fired his weapon too close to his ear, and it had been ringing since. As I was praying for his ear, he fell backwards into the chair and was completely healed."

For the next three days we kept hearing the buzz. Those officers who had not come began hearing the stories of how wonderful the ministry was from those "gringos" who came to the station. Hopefully, we'll have an opportunity to go back one day, but we've opened the door for future ministry teams to go in.

MINISTRY IN VACAVILLE

This next week, we'll be returning to our church in Vacaville to conduct a Sozo School. It's sold out, but we will be ministering at The Mission on Sunday the 28th, and will lead a Healing Service at 6 PM that night. We'd love to see you if you're in the area. Blessings.

"Pablo Bottari is the Argentine pastor who was in charge of the deliverance

teams in Carlos Anacondia's ministry. Anacondia is considered the

"father" in a sense of the revival in Argentina. The whole ministry

dealt in depth with all areas of deliverance/healing/demonization

and such."

His Biography

Pastor Pablo Bottari is an internationally recognized authority

on the ministry of deliverance. His vast experience through

many years of ministry has helped him become a major voice

on this subject. Pastor Bottari grew up in Italy and later moved

with his parents to Argentina. In 1985, he joined the staff of the

ministry Message of Salvation (Ministerio Mensaje de Salvacion)

under the leadership of evangelist Carlos Annacondia, where he was

given oversight of the tent of deliverance. In 1996, God spoke

to him about the need to teach the church of Jesus Christ everything

he had learned about spiritual deliverance. Today he travels all

around the world teaching on this subject. Pastor Bottari has

been married to his wife, Margarita, for thirty-seven years, and

they have two children.

In These Meetings Hear Subjects Like:
