[revival-fire] THANKSGIVING

******* REVIVAL FIRE!!! *******

Lindy wrote this to share with our Fellowship .  I was so impacted by it that I wanted to share it with you...

Rich

Thanksgiving.

 Tomorrow.

A national holiday.

A day off.

A delicious feast – that I work on for days and that is devoured in less than an hour.

Thanksgiving.

Kids running around with pilgrim hats and Indian headbands.

Candles lit with pumpkin spice and apple pie scents.

Pies in the oven and turkeys defrosting.

Airports crowded, long lines, delayed flights.  Freeways bumper to bumper as cars inch along for miles and miles for hours and hours.

Family, friends, one more place at the table for an extra guest.

Thanksgiving.

You ask someone what it means to them.  Most will say – a time to get together with family.  Others will talk about their favorite pie --- or the one time during the year that they have turkey.

They might bring up the horror stories with Aunt Tillie and her Chihuahua.  Or cousin Joe who almost burned the house down trying to deep fry a turkey.  Or the movies, football, games, or just sitting being bored with relatives you hardly know.

Few mention remembering a new country, feasting instead of starving, and being thankful to God.

Oh, you might hear of someone sharing thankful moments as a family, or another really going all out and serving meals to the homeless.

But mostly we give thanks as lip service --- oh, its what we are supposed to do – after all, its Thanksgiving.

The Word of God talks a lot about thanksgiving, especially in the Psalms.

Psalms 95:2  Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; Let us shout joyfully to Him with Psalms.

Psalms 107:1  Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.

1 Thessalonians 5:18  in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

Philippians 4:6  Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;

But what the Lord brought to my mind this morning, was the song we used to sing – "Give thanks with a grateful heart".

Give Thanks.  Thanksgiving.

With a Grateful Heart

A time to turn away from the next project at work, who is going to run for governor next year, what's happening with my retirement portfolio, how am I going to pay for all the gifts this Christmas?

A time to refocus.

A time to pause and reflect.

A time to Give Thanks.

That is asking for more than lip service.

For more than just a quick – everyone share at the table before we carve up the Big Bird.

Is the attitude of my heart really grateful?

I don't think that we can really give thanks if we don't put all the busyness of our lives on pause.  The world's focus is go, go, go – more, more, more, and me, me, me.

Its pretty hard to be "thankful" on the run.

Thankfulness requires something precious from us.

It requires time.

It necessitates our attention – our focus.

We aren't being ungrateful – we are just busy – too busy!

There is another song we used to sing,

Count your blessings,

Count them one by one

Count your many blessings

See what God has done.

How can I count my blessings if I never slow down enough to realize that I have been blessed.

If I am always focused on not having everything that I need (according to the newspaper ads),

and figuring out how to have it, (add another credit card? is the best price online or in that Black Friday store ad?)

If I just keep going like I have been, all year long,

I will miss the most important part of this holiday.

Thanksgiving.

But deep down inside me, if I listen, I hear my heart cry out.

My heart, which is weighed down with the extraordinary stresses of today;

My heart, which fears the bird flu, West Nile virus, levies breaking and Sacramento flooding, higher interest rates, and terrorist bombings;

My heart, which is passionate, loving, and longing for more;

My heart – which must be continually softened or it will harden up in a hard world.

MY HEART WAS MADE FOR Thanksgiving!

GRATITUDE

THANKFULNESS

APPRECIATION

In Thanksgiving, my heart is renewed when I realize that I don't have to figure it all out.

That there is a loving God who holds the whole universe, and my life in His hands.

In remembering His goodness and faithfulness, my heart looks forward to tomorrow.

In gratitude, I am encouraged

In thankfulness, I find hope.

In appreciation, I find relationship.

My heart requires gratitude in order to stay healthy.

MY GRATEFUL HEART CRIES OUT FOR THANKSGIVING!

I HAVE DECIDED FOR THIS YEAR

More important than feeding my own belly and my family – I am going to feed MY HEART.

I AM GOING TO BEGIN TOMORROW

MAYBE EVEN TONIGHT

I AM GOING TO REFOCUS, TO COUNT MY BLESSINGS, TO DEVELOP AN ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE.

I AM THANKFUL.  AND I WANT TO ENJOY THE REMEMBRANCES OF WHAT I AM THANKFUL FOR.

AN INCREDIBLE LOVING GOD,

A NATION WHERE I LIVE WITH FREEDOM AND PROSPERITY,

AND THAT DOES INCLUDE FAMILY AND FRIENDS.

AND A GOOD TURKEY DINNER.

I WILL GIVE THANKS – WITH A GRATEFUL HEART.

Blessings

Richard and Lindy Oliver

[revival-fire] [POSSIBLE SPAM] Doug Addison Free Dream Interpretation Conference

******* REVIVAL FIRE!!! *******

Dear Revival Fire Friends,

I have not had so much excitement about a guest speaker in a long time as I have had with Doug Addison coming.  Apparently, Doug has impressed people with his humour, knowledge on dream interpretation, and anointing.  He will speak Friday November 28th and Saturday November 29th at 7:00 P.M. during our regular Outpouring meetings which will include the Gary Schreib band, a time of healing, and a fire tunnel as well.

There will be a free dream interpretation workshop Saturday November 29th from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. as well.  For more info go to:

http://renooutpouring.com/

The Nugget has West Tower rooms for only $48.75 on an internet only special.  Go to the Nugget web site, click the drop down reservation bar under hotels, then click the internet special box in the lower right hand corner, then click on the 25% off two nights box.  These are really nice rooms and you can chill at their indoor pool and spa and really have a conference vacation!  Please let me know if you are staying at the nugget so that I can let them know.  They appreciate the support of the Christian community.  Also, these conferences are fulfilling prophetic words from three decades ago about revival happening in casinos in Reno.

If you have friends in the Reno/Sparks area Doug Addison will be interviewed on Renegade Radio (101.3 fm) today (Wednesday November 26th) at 2:00 P.M.

Here is a copy of the interview that I did with Doug in the Reno Gazette Journal.

Subject: A Dream And A Prayer

Hello All Of You Precious Ones Of God,
I wanted to share with you a dream that I had and a prayer that God has given me.
In this dream I was driving this road. As I was driving I saw a young man dirty, and destitute lying asleep in the ditch by the road, covered up with dirt and leaves and anything he could cover himself with to keep warm. I pulled over and woke him and took him and warmed him up and fed him. As I did so the Glory of the Lord shone so brightly around him it was amazing. The Lord spoke to me that this is one of His son's and daughters of glory, and that there are many of them out there that have been waylaid by the enemy even before they could come to salvation. Waylaid through drugs and alcohol and broken lives.
Then as I was waking up a song was playing in my mind. The verses in the song were "Let God arise" And I was urged to ask God what to pray. I was directed to pray. "Oh God arise in the hearts of your children all over this world. Arise in the hearts of the ones who know you, in the hearts of the ones who don't know you, and in the hearts of the ones who have not come to you yet for salvation. Oh Lord arise in the hearts of your children" For as God arises in the hearts of His children a great praise will fill the earth and He will inhabit those praises. He will dwell among His children on this earth like never before.
"Oh Lord arise in the hearts of your children all over the world. Arise in the hearts of the ones who know you, in the hearts of the ones who don't know you, and in the hearts of the ones who have not yet come to your salvation"
Thank You Oh Lord,
Lynn Salmoria

[revival-fire] Testimony from one of our RCSM Students!!

******* REVIVAL FIRE!!! *******

Below is a testimony that you must read. It is from one of our 1st yr. RCSM students. It is powerful, and will move you to expect the un-expected.

Andrew Davis

RCSM 1st Yr. Overseer

Awesome Chrystina!

God is good.

I have a friend who accepted Christ’s forgiveness last year but chose not follow in his ways.  She had awesome experiences with Him and knew His presence. She didn’t want to give up her old way of life and her friends that went along with that life. But she still went to church here and there. For the past year I’ve been praying for this friend of mine. Each time I prayed for her, God revealed more and more of His love for her to me. I love this friend, but it wasn’t my love, but Gods love for her that flowed through me. If God didn’t reveal His love for her to me I probably would have given up on her, because my love (human love) can only go so far, but Gods love (supernatural love) has no end to it. He is so good.

Last Wednesday we were at Denny’s our favorite meeting place.  And like always we talked about God but this time it was different. This time she was really listening to what I was saying to her. She said to me, she was really considering living for God. She has said this before but something was different this time.

She dropped me off at my house and then I followed her to her house in my car.  I walked into her house and saw her crying in her kitchen. She said she couldn’t breath, at that point I knew it was God. She told me when she was in the car she said to God “I need you I cant do this by myself. I need to feel you.” And nothing happened then once she got out of the car Gods presence fell on her. And then she asked me to follow her to her room because she needed help with something. She opened up her closet and pulled out a shoe boxes that had an ounce of marijuana. Once I saw that I started crying and getting high off my God. (not the weed Pastor Matt) We walked to the garbage can out side and she threw it all away. Right then something broke off of her and she fell to the ground in fetal position sobbing. I was jumping, running and praising God I couldn’t stop praising Him. He is so good. I was so high off of Him and what He was doing for my friend. Praying for this for what seems a long time, and then seeing it happen was unbelievable. Then she took my hand and held it and I began to weep and couldn’t stop. My God is good. She started deleting phone numbers and ripped her pot poster to tiny pieces. After this she tried to put on her make up but couldn’t because God was on her so thick.

Never give up on your friends and family, because if you pray, you will see God fall on them and redeem them. Your prayers do not go unheard from our God. He is a great God. He is the Redeemer. He is always with us and He is always working on hearts.

[revival-fire] Citizens of another world

******* REVIVAL FIRE!!! *******
Hi from Oklahoma City:
As many of you know, we are on a mission to find keys for the kind of revival that the Father wants to bring now. We have come to believe that the Lord is telling all of us to shift from citizenship of this world first, Kingdom second to citizenship of heaven first. This will bring God's power into the church bigtime, when more and more believers do it.

We have let you folks know that the things of God we discover in our intercessory worship meetings, we put up on the web for everyone to share. Take them and use them however you wish to. Two messages on CITIZENS OF ANOTHER WORLD are here: www.allnations.podomatic.com .

Bless you all. Also, written teachings on these same keys are at www.hubpages.com/hub/OklahomaCityChurches . And the experiemental online novel portal at www.Ran4.webs.com .

Blessings,
Don (All Nations Fellowship, OKC)

[revival-fire] prayer

******* REVIVAL FIRE!!! *******
Hi, I am not sure if this is the appropriate use of the system - but if permissible, I'd like to request that you faith-filled radicals pray with me over my little boy. He's been diagnosed with an incurable disease that will, in time if unchecked, take his life.  The Lord has confirmed several times that He has heard our prayers and the evidence of God's protection on our son is clear. But he is facing a surgery in a couple of months and we are looking for full reversal before then.

I invite you to pray with us - and please feel free to share with me anything you believe the Lord lays on your heart.

[revival-fire] never give up......pray without ceasing

******* REVIVAL FIRE!!! *******

God is good.

I have a friend who accepted Christ's forgiveness last year but chose not follow in his ways.  She had awesome experiences with Him and knew His presence. She didn't want to give up her old way of life and her friends that went along with that life. But she still went to church here and there. For the past year I've been praying for this friend of mine. Each time I prayed for her, God revealed more and more of His love for her to me. I love this friend, but it wasn't my love, but Gods love for her that flowed through me. If God didn't reveal His love for her to me I probably would have given up on her, because my love (human love) can only go so far, but Gods love (supernatural love) has no end to it. He is so good.

Last Wednesday we were at Denny's our favorite meeting place.

She said she couldn't breath, at that point I knew it was God. She told me when she was in the car she said to God "I need you I cant do this by myself. I need to feel you." And nothing happened then once she got out of the car Gods presence fell on her. I was jumping, running and praising God I couldn't stop praising Him. He is so good. I was so high off of Him and what He was doing for my friend. Praying for this for what seems a long time, and then seeing it happen was unbelievable. Then she took my hand and held it and I began to weep and couldn't stop. My God is good. She started deleting phone numbers and ripped her pot poster to tiny pieces. After this she tried to put on her make up but couldn't because God was on her so thick.

Never give up on your friends and family, because if you pray, you will see God fall on them and redeem them. Your prayers do not go unheard from our God. He is a great God. He is the Redeemer. He is always with us and He is always working on hearts.

[revival-fire] thankful for something worth dying for

******* REVIVAL FIRE!!! *******
It has been quite some time since I have had the opportunity to write onto here, but now that god has me wrapped up in him this way, it would be selfish not to share some of the most profound and supernatural ways that god has worked in me and out within the last two months. My name is Breanna, I am going to be 21 years old coming in a few months I attend FCC and am an aspired Ministry and prophetic speaker and nurse. Although I have overcome some of the most hard and painful things of my youth and young adulthood, I can simply sit here today with thanksgiving around the corner with little as to say but..wow! I may be without much in the flesh but boy I thought I was without and the truth is I have all I need..Jesus because isnt he all we need really..? Thanksgiving will always be a time for me to remember for someone I never got to see before he died...but how wrong would it be to be upset a bout something that was not of my responsiblitie but gods..and therefore I am so thankful to know that he not only has such a plan for me, but has everything I need in his very arms the arms that carried my brother to heaven the arms that have held onto me for so long and as lonely as it can be at times without this person...I get to be with god on earth as it is in heaven, the place where people rejoice and are no longer sufffering I get to experiance that with our father everyday and amongst all the suffering this world has to offer..I look to god or rold model and say what else is there to be thankful for really..?.... I am so grateful to have a daddy whom loves me so dearly to tell me and show me some of the things that I get to experiance as painful as they are inside and out at times..  he always makes way to place things on the table for you, to understand the works of life.. from his point of view and it just astounds me, and I am so grateful that I must shout it out amongst everythin g that I have come to witness the good the bad the ugly...he has chosen me..me, a only child of god whom has outlived both her siblings... to reveal his messages and to bring hope to the lost. what an honor. I it find a hard thing to except sometimes knowing that this is a god that has everything under his control and can be such holy terror..how could you not what it especially when it is a gift to you..?...its not easy living this way for him, or little did I know of what was expected just years back but how could I ask for more or anything less...I just cant get enough of him, and the best part, he cant get enough of me. ..he is my daddy and this christmas whether presents or not the only thing I can think of is how I would rather have him as my present alive and here any day. haha
For the last several months god has literally handed me out some boots a bag and some weapons and asked me to take notes of what I see than assumes to ask me questions on how I would handle this predicament in the most concrete way possible, watching me to see how I deal with it, some momments more frusterated than some, but it is a learning point for me to really find out who god is and what it must been like for him. I go out on this journey that has caused me to literally find every possible way throughout my day to turn to him and ask what he is doing to me because it gets shaky, my heart starts to beat rapidly, and takes everything out of me be obediant to him whether I want something to happen or not...and although it has been somewhat scary from what has been observed, the fact of the matter is whether we except it or not..god has chosen some of us to do his work, and it is up to you and I to chose&nbs p;to stand with him as patient as possible and be wiling to except what is required of us to do and that may mean hard labor or simply his undividied attention to learn, watch and be willing to be put up to the test. But what god wants of us is to pass the test and be willing to die for him, more than money, cars or anything else, because he gives the test to those he sees fit to stand in his needed position and he needs us to stand for him. I know I do.
People, and that includes myself at times, have gotten so caught up in work ethics and the economy and what society says of us that they have looked to the news and things of this world to determine who you are.. that is telling us that getting a job is "only" going to make you a better person..so everything tells us it is impossible from every corner you turn on... and what the media and culture keeps telling us is false propoganda about god.. because the day I give up is the day that I give the devil a cheer and with so many in doubt and fear of what is to happen with this ecomony struggle and such is more so reason to get up and go all out...Because although it is hard to find, that the circumastances are out of place...I have found out one answer by sticking to it and that is by fasting and prayer. You musn't listen to anyting that tells you otherwise, no matter how hard the stuggle...you must keep going for it, because trust me god can and will prevail over all things regarding this instance. I have recently been blessed to finally find work doing something that I have always wanted to do and that is take care of people that I am hoping to start soon but it took me to learn and sacrifce alot of things to focus on his plan, and i had times where I wanted to give up...and so with a fast god has the ability to open those deposits for you that seem nearly impossible..
Over the last few weeks I have watched people all around me suffer, especially in my family ,in flesh, that aside from a tragity of losing my little bro to cancer comoing up to its full year.. have all gone to desprite measures and ways to heal there pains and aches and that is from one extreme to the other;drugs and many things that has not only taking over their lives in hopelessness but caused a ripple affect to just about everyone, and that includes my 8 year old couisn whom has wanted to kill herself..It has been something that has consumed my mind for months, aside the pursiuit of finding a job, to where I turned to god in mere frusteration regarding the situation rather than simpy realizing he has a handle on it as always and has given me another oportunity to show his ways. I became more and more deperate and started really becoming fearful of the ways I could be attacked and what could eve ntually happen to me because I hate what I have to see at tiimes, therefore I dont always keep my mouth shut....and as a warrior I have always stood up to it, and I always will stand up to it as scary as it is,I will if it costs me everything...BUt the bottom line is, that there are people right now as we speak thinking to themselves ways to get out of their situations, and whether it be to drugs or alchol, there is no limit to what god can do to there lives in the power of the holy spirit BUT I feel as believers but more so doers of christ, we have to take a stand right now and not just for my family but all of those out there...so I have made a plea with god, and although it is to be between us two, I want to share that I have made the plea to fast and pray after thanksgiving to see my family restored and a miracle happen this christmas and new year to those in need and for salvations... but especially at this time of losses of jobs and lack of fai t hfullnes I want to see god work in ways that he hasnt yet before... .I commit myself to prayer everyday and all day, and I would ask that if you are truely tired of what you are seeing, as I surely am, and what is being experianced around you the bonds of evil, than lets step up in the power of gods remarkable power and commit ourselves in faith and obediance that we wil see change in our countries history, so that we can all, not just I live for gods purpose but so we all can as one body of christ live in his house of divine presense and promises that are everlasting and fruitful.  If anyone needs prayer I would love to pray for you, and just remember, we can always overcome anything with the power of gods spirit prayer and fasting. believe.=)
tell death do us part,
forever and ever

I am fairly new to the Bethel/Global Legacy tribe (year and a half) and loving every minute of it. I have pastored here in northwestern Wisconsin, about an hour east of Minneapolis/St.Paul, for 20 years.

I have served on a local school board for 15 years and recently was elected the chair of the board. Quite an honor for a pastor of a charismatic, interdenominational church in the land of 10,000 Lutheran churches. Anyway, I serve in that capacity to truly serve and not drive any agenda except to bless my territory. God has shown Himself mighty in more ways than I can number here. I have heard Bill say that if we seek to make people look good in places like public schools, we will be trusted in critical junctures to bring the Kingdom.

Because I am known and trusted in this role in the area, another school district called me last week to come walk their hallways due to the tragic death of a much loved and respected coach and teacher. When I arrived at the elementary school I was immediately sent to a 5th grade class and found a room full of weeping students and a broken-hearted teacher. The teacher asked if I speak to the class and "help us get through this". I started asking questions and listened. One little guy said, "My mom just died", another boy said, "My little brother died last summer" and the teacher said, "I'm a cancer survivor...and all this just seems so unfair! Why do these things happen?"

Well, the attorney demon on my left shoulder said, "You'd better be careful! This could ruin everything and the trust you've worked to build for 20 years!" Then the Holy Spirit said, "Open your mouth and I will fill it!" I opened my mouth and I heard myself say, "I don't have all the answers. All I know is that God is good and only good comes from Him. If it isn't good, He can make it work for good, but it still didn't come from Him! I KNOW THIS, 'GOD IS IN A GOOD MOOD! Hey, lets all say that together." And this weeping class room thundered, "God is in a good mood!" And then I said, "That's great...now let's say it again!" And they bravely and beautifully said it again. You could feel the tangible Presence of God and see the healing start to touch their hearts.

Driving home later I figured that Bill would get a kick out knowing that his simple, yet profound adage, "God is in a good mood" brought healing into a public school classroom 2000 miles away! Thanks Bill, for being who you are!

[revival-fire] get clean but not sober ;)

******* REVIVAL FIRE!!! *******

What I mean by "get clean but not sober" is~
I finally got clean and realized God I CAN'T do it by myself

(life/inner issues/battles/single motherhood/business owner/work/school/ministry/relationships/etc./etc./etc..........)
and what I could do I couldn't do sober (need joy/presence/Holy spirit/etc.........)

He's showing me again why I am still in the housecleaning business (to pave the way and allow God to clean things up) The business itself has changed alot lately to where I only have a few long time clients that I do on a regular basis and the rest are move-outs (God still moves here as I pray for the nasty spirits that are left to be gone and have a fresh/clean/annointed house when I/we are done. It's been good not to mention the overwhelming amount of work He has provided for me and my business where others have little or none. thank you God!

So last week Margariet and I were at a client named Betsy (sweet, overwhelmed, ultimate super mom) and she came home (unusual) and she told us of her purse being stolen and how she had injured her neck because she chased after the women and hopped in their van and the dragged her a lil ways....So I said before we go let's pray....we did she completely relaxed (was very uptight!) This is a woman who graduated Bethany college years ago and now rarely mentions God, but I beleive our presence and seed planting may spark some new faith!!!!

Also, today Shawna and I were cleaning another regular and I looked out the window and saw the neighbor who I had cleaned her house one time 6 months ago.  I went out to say hi and see if she wanted her key back. She told me she had surgery (this is a woman that does not look like a woman because of the hormones and lifestyle she choses)  and that she didn't feel any better.  I got some words of knowledge and was able to speak life into her but I didn't pray (even though I'm in school, at church yayayya I still have a hard time praying for people) so I didn't............
When I went back inside I knew it was wrong and I went back next door.

She (Cavi) answered and I just said can I lay my hand on your neck and pray for you?  She said aw, yeah.....instantly I felt heat before my words came out! God's Just waiting for the vessel!  This very manly, tough woman became a little crying girl before the Lord. We broke off all sorts of things/spirits/bondages and blessed her.  I felt this HUGE wall break that was in between Cavi and Jesus.  She just cried and hugged me, let go, hugged and wouldn't let go etc.....she was so thankful and so touched I counldn't believe I almost missed it.   I was so excited and sedated by the Holy Spirit that I forgot to ask if she felt better, but she was freely moving about where she wasn't before.....I get to go back in a week and I'm gonna show her how to really take a drink~

I get scared too, I could get punched, laughed at, lose my clients, which I have lost them because of religion and one from an insanely accurate prophetic word that freaked her out.. etc......but what's that compared to seeing a manifestation of God's glory actually glowing on their face?  And hearts turning to God, maybe Cavi will get God so much she turns her girlfriend Stella to God!  haha ya!

One of the biggest lies I battle with is God only using me if Im doing good or feeling good last week was a rough one and my character constantly being tested but he still uses me ~

be willing~be ready
no matter what the devil hates you, but be on the winning team!

JUST DO IT!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
