It's bent and pushed over, and all the while, it's root system is actually being strengthened and given new opportunities for growth. That is the same way we were built to be. It even says in Psalm 92:12, "The righteous will flourish like a palm tree." That means God knew there would be difficult times in our lives, that things would come against us, trying to steal our joy, peace and victory. He's not surprised by our difficulties, but rather knew ahead of time and equipped us with everything we need in Him! Because we have strong roots, we are going bounce right back. The storms in life will come. The winds will blow. But no weapon formed against us will prosper! God Is Love.... Ask God to SHOW you what His love looks like. Then get ready for the unlovable to bust your door down, to challenge you, to BEND and STRETCH you, and to make you more like Jesus... ouch.... Praise HIM for not leaving me as I am! ~cher~

Hebrews 10:35-39   Dear Eric, One of the last things that Jim Kibler said to me is that "you get what you preach."  He pointed out that we have preached healing and we have a notable healing ministry.  We have preached the prophetic and we have a  prophetic ministry that attracts people from miles away.  The first eight months at River Rock I preached about the power of the tongue.  Since then men of God like Dan McCollam have come and built upon this foundation the ministry of declaring and decreeing.  I have heard testimonies from Sherry Tait and other prophets about them declaring and decreeing a move of God at John Ascuaga's Nugget and now we see it. "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him." Hebrews 11:6 Pastor Jim told me a story about a group of people attending one of his meetings who had travelled for years with one of the most famous healing evangelists of the past generation.  He told me that they were all very healthy but dead broke.  They had learned how to have faith for healing but not for finances.  I feel like if you have faith for salvation which come by hearing the word of God then you should have faith for healing from the word of God.  Therefore, if you have faith for healing and salvation you should have faith that God will provide for you abundantly.  Last night Wendi taught on the meaning of several ways that God can bless you abundantly from good measure, to pressed down, to shaken together, to overflowing.  These were actually different ways that things were measured in Biblical times.  Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.             Luke 6:38 Like many of us, the 23rd psalm has been a real comfort in times of trials.  One of my favorite verses in the 23rd psalm is "my cup overflows."  Father God is a generous God.  He is the God of more than enough.  When Wendi and I were on vacation in Jackson Hole Wyoming years ago we went to a country dinner show.  The song that I still remember was entitled "I am drinking from my saucer because my cup is overflowing!"   "Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over." Psalm 23:5 One of the key values at River Rock is knowing God intimately.  Our God is a generous God who wants to bring blessings to His children.  Wendi and I believe that we must immerse ourselves in God's word until faith springs forth and the Word of God lives in our lives.  We plan to preach God's generous and loving nature on Sundays until we get what we preach, a church full of abundantly blessed people who are drinking out of their saucers!  God is downloading new and fresh revelations.  Why not commit to be there every Sunday and bring a friend or neighbor with you who needs the love and encouragement of the Lord? So last weekend at Club Retro was amazing and the presence of God was so thick in that building! I got to be in the prophetic room all weekend and it was a very encouraging and much needed time for me! It was encouraging to see the kids just pouring in (literrally for 2 hours straight kids were in the prophetic room non stop!), curious, hungry for something real, a little nervous and freaked out; it was awesome! A reminder of why we at Club Retro, do what we do. Why we fight to keep our doors open, and brush off all conflicts and harsh words that come our way...because kids out there need us, they are living in desperate times and will go to desperate measures to find something real!!!   The whole night was really encouraging to me to see just how much inpact my words can have (yes it is God speaking through me, but it is still me being bold and just saying what ever i see or feel God saying). The night before i was praying that God would just start growing me in the gifting of the prophetic, that i would get words that were dead on that would capture the kids attentions...and He totally did that Saturday night. Kids were leaving shocked and amazed. They were scared and freaked out before they came in, and they would leave even more freaked out! One girl just kept saying "This is just so REAL!" She didn't want to leave, she kept staying in with all her friends and just listening to us totally read her friends and it continued to amaze her. We even got to prophecy over one girl who told us she was an athiest.   It was just an amazing night and amazing to see kids just pouring into the room, sitting on the floor, waiting at the door, waiting in a line, comming back multiple times....THERE HUNGRY PEOPLE! AND WE HAVE AN AMAZING GOD AND POWER AND LOVE TO OFFER THEM!!!! We just have to be willing to sacrifice our time, and our lives...   GOD OPEN OUR EYES TO SEE THE DYING WORLD AROUND US!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Amem!!! That's huge Diane! And, no, by my emotions at times and reactons I find I "don't" believe, otherwise, I wouldn't be an emotional wreck, or allow depression to open it's door in my mind!

Good word! I call it "process". How I act or react during the situation, going through the trial. If we put "everything" that's going on in our lives in the big proverbial pot on the stove and boiled it all down, all that would be left would be "unbelief". Think about it, if I'm worried about my future, (I'm not believing Him), If I'm worrying about finances, health, school, my job, relationships, (I'm not believing Him). The list goes on! So let's all stop being just hearers of the word and start being DOERS....BElIEVE!!!

   Well this is the very first time on revival fire.  I was praying this morning "BELIEVING GOD  ". I have a few Bibles and I go to the Amplified offen, in John 3:16 which everyone knows ,the word "believes" jumps out. Why? because next to it was (trusts in, clings to, relies on) in John 3:18 its says "He who believes in Him (who clings to, trusts in, relies on Him). This hit me hard because "Am I really "clinging "to "in "every thing not just some times, totally "trusting in" every little situation, "relying on" Him no matter what"??? That word "BELIEVE" has  a BIG  meaning! What do You think??

Beloved Ones:   This is a timely word by the "Burns" family. I know with the elections and all the rhetoric, and demonic chatter in the air ways it's really been difficult to focus on the Lord and what His word says....and guess what, HIS word is the FINAL say! Our voices are important in this hour, they are weighty in the spirit, they create things, they proclaim things, they declare things, they form things that are on the heart of the Father. We must be careful about our words and be intentional about what we say, and how we pray, our words are weighty in the spirit realm. Let's catch our breath and move forward in this hour. We all have had many things to confront, many things to dredge through, it's been a difficult, but prosperous time in the spirit. We have a new earned authority because of where the Lord has had us walk this last year.     2009 will be a year that we gain even greater momentum in to our destiny. It will be a year of net working with His Kingdom minded people. It will be a year that we take the spoils of the evil one, and we will see restoration to our left and to our right. It will be a year that we charge the giants, with the Lord's direction and strategy in our hearts and we will take the land. 2008 we warred at the gates, and now we have just stepped over the threshold into the promised land and we have new keys in our hands! The land is full of milk and honey (sustaining power, energy and a honey anointing). It is time Beloveds! It is time. It is time to organize a time of worship for His people to come together. It is time for intercessors across the board to come together and seek the Lord. It is time to prophecy that which will be in this hour. Don't hold back, but come up out of the oppressed places, the caves the enemy has pushed you in to. It is time to emerge, and be His glorious and beautiful church. We must push back, and press forward. God is forming us, has formed in us, beautiful gem stones, diamonds and rubies in this hour. He is forming Christ in us, the hope of glory....    Well this is the very first time on revival fire.  I was praying this morning "BELIEVING GOD  ". I have a few Bibles and I go to the Amplified offen, in John 3:16 which everyone knows ,the word "believes" jumps out. Why? because next to it was (trusts in, clings to, relies on) in John 3:18 its says "He who believes in Him (who clings to, trusts in, relies on Him). This hit me hard because "Am I really "clinging "to "in "every thing not just some times, totally "trusting in" every little situation, "relying on" Him no matter what"??? That word "BELIEVE" has  a BIG  meaning! What do You think??

you've got to prophesy...........that song is in my head ;)   SATURDAY NIGHT AT CLUB RETRO  (IN PROPHETIC ROOM) WAS CRAZY!!!!!!!!!   Just a lil something to say.......the spiritual reading room was PACKED for 2 hours straight~not even a bathroom break~people waiting in the room on the floor, up against the wall, in the doorway, and outside the room....we had amazing ecounters with these kids who upon entering the room thought it would be a funny thing to do and exiting the room totally stunned and encouraged at what God had to share with them..........Kelsey has lots of details we had so many people come in 30-50(yeah that many) that it was hard to remember but Kelsey should be posting...........but what was really cool was the unity that God required of a few of us to impact...   It started Saturday afternoon when I shared two sets of numbers God has been repeating in all areas of my life in crazy ways to Chris and Kevin.  This led us on an adventure in the bible and was encouraging and confirming in other areas.    Then out of no where Kevin said I don't know who this is for but I have a word about music~that God's giving them a new way to write music and lyrics~that it would not be rhyming but a parallel way, something so different~and things I can't remember but very specific. God told me to tell Kevin that he would know because his heart would quicken and God would clearly say "it is for him"   Kevin got called out of the room to do security so he could not prophesy and was bummed..... As the night progressed 4 guys came in and as we were prophesying, Kelsey said "do you play guitar" YES he said, then my heart quickened and God told me "it for him" I told him what Kevin had said and all 4 faces were stunned and they started to laugh................turns out they were one of the bands that had played that night.  The told us that they had been writing and playing music that was so different and unlike ever heard and they weren't sure if they should go with it. What they had said was word for word what God had told Kevin. The flow was crazy, accurate and specific. Our sentences never stopped, and when I was afraid my mouth would burst if I didn't share, Kelsey would say word for word what was being downloaded to me.  God was going to get it across even if one of us isn't paying attention.     so......Lord send me!  How bad do you want it? Just do it!  If not he will move on, he has a mission and so should we.  Get sent.......it's well worth it.  LISTEN, let God speak to you in any way......cause he will and its for a reason, whether it's to share, not to share or intercede....LISTEN..........LISTEN......AND HAVE FUN!   Also this was a faith builder for us as a group and student body and built a bridge for Kevin and I. Destroying Lack & Poverty!

 

Rich Oliver was teaching on financial issues on Sunday, in a very inspiring Word from God, and he was exhorting us at FCC to really stand for God in these times and see His deliverance and supply.  As a body, on Sunday, we at FCC under Rich's leadership came into strong agreement for blessings and supply. We need to keep seeking God and His Word daily and believe that He is a good God, and more than ready to bless us and meet needs, and carry on His work.  As Rich was teaching, the Holy Spirit was speaking to me some insights and showing me some things I'd like to share here.

 

 

Financial breakthrough for many simply means believing God at His Word to provide abundance and plenty and supply for our every need.  We need to not only believe, but believe it is "now."  Hebrews 11:1 says "Now faith is..."  and you could also invert that and say, "faith is now...." because after all, "today is the day of our salvation"  or, "give us today our daily bread." God blessing us is unconditional if we will believe Him, and we need not wait a week, or a month, or for something to align, we can go get the blessing now, NOW, TODAY!!!!!!  You cannot believe yesterday for today after it is passed, and you cannot believe tomorrow for today, only today can you believe for today (and the future).  Picture the harvest of blessing in your personal life like a harvest being full and ready to take in and you have until tonight to get it in, just like a farmer would.  That farmer is going to go get his tools or his harvesting equipment and go take the harvest in.  He will not wait until tomorrow, for you never know what tomorrow brings.  Procrastination is a great thief of believers.  If we will believe God's promise of blessing is today, then today we will do something in faith that breaks things loose for us.  Today we will act on our faith.  That faith which is not acted upon is not faith.  In each of our lives, individually and as families, and as church bodies, we can act on God's Word today, in faith, and move some mountains.  Lack may be your Goliath, so look for five smooth stones in your business or job, but don't forget your sword so you can cut off the giant's head.  Take some action today to slay that giant.

 

Lack is like the Egyptians who chased the Israelites, right up to the Red Sea, and Moses cried to God, who said back to Moses, "Why cry to me, tell the people to go forward, and you lift up your rod and stretch out your hand over the sea and divide it."   God didn't say He would divide the sea, he told Moses to.  The people also needed to act, by moving forward. On Sunday, at FCC, God was speaking through Rich telling we people to go forward.  Act on faith, believe in God's salvation, and move forward.  This is what I saw while Rich was ministering.  I saw what I had to do in my business.  I needed to remove fear and go get my harvest.  MOVE FORWARD.  And I need to believe it is TODAY!  Why waste a Word from God by procrastinating, or not acting?  Move forward and step into the nothingness, He will catch us.  If we start moving, something or someone related to our solution will start moving towards us, even if we can't see it.

 

If we can heed this and seize the moment of a Word from God, by taking action, then for many of us, Mose's words of Exodus 14:13 will be true of us and of lack. 

 

"For the Egyptians (lack) whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever." 

 

Through faith, many of us, truly "all" of us can and could say, "lack, we will see you no more forever!"  Egypt in those days in scripture stands for the world and the world's system of doing things and the world's finances and financial systems.  Through faith, we can see that system have no more influence over us..., forever!

 

If you stand before the sea of debt and lack, with the water licking at your feet, and no way to cross, and evil and the day of reckoning of financial crisis is fast approaching from behind, like your past mistakes, maybe bills and collectors and repossessions and foreclosures, then you have no where to go but forward.  God will have to make you a way, where there is no way. 

 

Your rod to stretch out over your sea of lack is your verbal declaration of faith.  One great man of God said, "faith is voice activated."  I can prove that principle from the Word.  God told Moses to hit a rock for water, and later told him to speak to the rock.  Moses did not, and hit it again, and God was angry. This was a lesson to us, because Moses was type of Christ, but more fallible, and more accurately, a type of the typical Christian.  "He shall strike the earth with the rod of His mouth, and with the breath of His lips He shall strike the wicked."  Isaiah 11:4b  This is Jesus, and we are born again in His image.

 

 

Old Covenant believers had to hit rocks, but New Covenant believers get to speak to and command rocks, and mountains, and disease and lack, etc. Each new covenant believer would be issued a rod of power, at their New Birth, which would be God's spoken Word in their mouths.  You have your own rod of power. Jesus came to earth showing us how, speaking faith and commanding, and moving mountains.  (Mark 11:23) Use your rod of power, which is your Word from the Lord, first formed in your heart, and then spoken by you.  Declare your answer, decree it.  Maybe the only action today you can take in faith is to declare your answer.  That is faith in action. Then stand, and stand until it is true of you that you see this enemy of lack no more forever!  Today is your day or harvest and salvation!   Rich gave us a written confession of faith full of the truths of God, to declare daily, we need to use it or something like it, declaring the Word of God and the promises of God.  Once you have declared your faith, take a practical step to get your harvest.

 

For ministries and pastors who are seeking God for financial breakthrough, I want to pass on a great quote I heard once. 

 

"Divine prosperity from God is simply having enough supply to do everything He has told you to do."  

 

If I may expound, God told you to open that ministry, and He is responsible to fund it.  God may have even led you into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. (lack) Trust that God will not only uphold you in the wilderness, but He will lead you out. Your pro-vision will come through your vision.  Trust that, and be faithful to the heavenly vision, and watch God make a way for you, your family and your ministry.  My wife and I have found out that God's simplest and best answers were always by using something that was already in our hands, we just didn't recognize it as our solution until He mercifully overcame our ignorance or temporary blindness and told us the answer.  Rich told us at FCC on Sunday to ask God for wisdom.  God will give you wisdom if you ask for it and believe you receive it.  Your solution may be right before you, or around you.  Allow Him to reveal it.  With God, everything is always so simple; we Christians often do the complicating of the issues.  Today is the day.  Ask for wisdom, believe, act and stand, and see your breakthrough.

 

Are surrounded by a sea of lack?   Listen to God one more time:  "Why cry to me, tell the people to go forward, and you lift up your rod and stretch out your hand over the sea and divide it."
