Re: [revival-fire] Hmmmm...just wanted to share

******* REVIVAL FIRE!!! *******
Amen - tribulation is a promise not a threat...
Oswald Chambers, My Utmost for His Highest, says "Our Lord received himself in the fire of sorrow, He was saved not from the hour but out of the hour. Suffering burns up a great amount of shallowness but it does not always make a man better. Suffering either gives me myself or it destroys myself. The way to find yourself is in the fire of sorrow and if you receive yourself God will make you nourishment for other people."
We are not saved to be taken out of the world, but whatever we are called to do He will enable us to bear it and will never leave our side - not out of but through - He always gets us through - God is (beyond) good :-)

What is the difference from the causing of adversity (suffering) then from the allowing of adversity? I purpose Nothing, due to they both produce the same outcome.  What matters is the motive behind it, how we deal with it and the fruit that is produced from it.
