******* REVIVAL FIRE!!! *******
This morning at Family Christian Center was one of the best worship times that i have had in a long time. When worship started this morning my mind was on serveral things, issues going on in my life, problems, you name it it was on my mind. And lately during services i just havent been able to really truly connect with the Lord. I was reading one of Bill Johnsons books earlier and it was talking about giving praise, just giving praise to the lord and thanking him for all the good in my life and eventually the negative feelings in your life would go away. That the joy of the Lord would push out all of the bad. I was standing there and i was just speaking and praying to the Lord. Telling him how much i wanted him in my life. And i began thanking him for all of the good in my life, the friends i have, the family, the very fact that i began going to Family Christian Center. And i told the Lord that i wanted to have a true honest conversation with him. And i asked him to help me to love all of his children the way he does and to see only the positve in them. As i was standing there just saying this over and over, it was somewhat cold this morning in the main building, and i felt as if a person had laid their hand on my shoulder. There was no one there though. And i felt as if someone were holding my hands. It was just this warmth that was not from the room being too warm. IT was God. I was so moved and so touched it brought me to tears. And as Soibhan and the choir and the congregation were singing it sounded as if a million voices were singing in unison. But it was more than just our church body singing it was angels. This mornings service was the most amazing one i've been in in a long time. Mostly because i was able to reconnect with the Lord and he showed me that he is still there, he still loves me and that we are all being watched over.
I praise him. I love him.
He is amazing.
