In the interests of encouraging accuracy and discouraging hoaxes, it's GREAT that the snopes' article is linked to this excited warning -- but whoever wrote the warning DIDN'T READ THE SNOPES REPORT even though it was only a "click" away.

There is not a "HUGE VIRUS COMING!!!" The "postcard" virus has already been here for quite a long time and most people's computers already protect against it. On top of that, it does NOT "burn" the hard disc C of your computer.

Anyone remember the story of Chicken Little for whom the sky once fell? There's no need for those who know their God to be caught up in other people's unreasonable, unseasonable and unfounded fears.

Hi All, I checked with Norton Anti-Virus, and they are gearing up for this virus!

I checked Snopes (URL above:), and it is for real!! ... It is a virus which opens A POSTCARD IMAGE, which 'burns' the whole hard disc C of your computer. This virus will be received from someone ! wh o has your e-mail address in his/her contact list. This is the reason why you need to send this e-mail to all your contacts It is better to receive this message 25 times than to receive the virus and open it.
