******* REVIVAL FIRE!!! *******
Hey how's it going folks? You know, it's been a while since I posted on here. I've been wanting to share all the off the cuff stuff God is doing with me. The fact is that sometimes i'm worried about what i post and in what way i put things. I mean no harm, I just try to speak with more freedom.
This is where i'm at right now: Still unemployeed from the State of California (the land of "opportunity"). In my fourth week of Second Year of RCSSM. Lord knows i'm trying to hang in there. I am still very much active with my Drumming and Lyrics writting. The band is still hanging in there and God continues to open doors to awesome opportunities.
This past summer: I found myself in deep shock and sorrow over the loss of my job and income. Thankfully I did start getting unempolyment checks in the mail. Which have helped pay off bills and etc. Two weeks into my new found summer vacation, i bought a Huffy Beach Cruiser (it's a bike). I found loads of time to ride my bike downtown and around the state capital. I had time to focus more on my own ministry which is the band "Your Pain My Victory". I re-fell in love with downtown Sacramento again. I spend a lot of time hanging out with some friends and meeting new ones. I started getting involed with their ministries and now very active in a Social Justice / College group (the co*op) at The Friends Church in Citrus Heights, Ca. Hanging out in downtown I was introduced to homeless poeple on the streets and people who help them out. I was "THE CHURCH, BEING THE CHURCH" loving as Christ did. I really had no understand of Gods love until Brandon Sunburg spoke about it in our school last year. I have found myself drawn to the hurt and outcasted through simply LOVE.
Maybe the stuff I just shared is just crap too you. So to fulfill what "Revival Fire" is... here's a few testimonies.
1.) This past friday our band "Your Pain My Victory" played with some other bands in Modesto, CA. A little after we had played, i creeped outside for some fresh air. The heavy-set kid came up too me and said he like our band. We then started talking about God, Churches (not churches chicken) and Music. He enjoyed my sense of humor and had all his friends meet me. After the greetings he started limp away. I remember that he was the kid, who got kicked in the leg while moshing at the begining of the concert. I asked if I could pray for him. He said , sure. I began to invite god's supernatural presents into this area and take out the pain and replace it with your healing touch. Amen. I asked if he could move his leg. He did and had no more pain and walked of to the pit. When I got inside to watch the last and touring band, i noticed he was not limping and was moshing it up in the pit. Praise God.
2.) Last Monday I attend a concert over at the Friends Church. The headliner was The Glorious Unseen. They came to do some worship and it was amazing. They have this song that says, "God rap us around your arms". When this part of the song came up, i just broke. I was in this nirvana state of spiritual LOVE. I broke out in tongues and just was thick in the presents of God.
3.) Maybe it was the same week as RCSSM started. I went to wednesday night youth group. I brought my Flags to share with whoever wanted to war in a different way. I started out with Green and then Black. Afterwards I really just felt grabbing this Orange Flag that Mrs. Seaton made for me. I guess I grabbed it because Orange is my favorite color. I begin to warfare with this Orange Flag and then, God speaks too me about it. Orange is the only thing that I still keep close too me. It reminds me of my youth and being very young, before i was Molested. Some of you may have noticed that I wear a pumpkin or jack-o-lantern handkerchief all year round. It's not that my favorite hoilday is Halloween, at least since I got saved it's not anymore. When I was very young my Aunt & Grandma would take me every year to Vacaville, CA to the Nut Tree Pumpkin Patch. I loved going every year until it closed. The pumpkins are a reminder of my youth before it was robbed from me. Any who back to the Orange Flag... I really felt as if God was say this is your Orange Flag, be young again. I know that whenever I use that Orange Flag, I am in a state of Gods love and mercy.
Any who it's like 12:08 am on wednesday and i need to get up earily and meet some of the guys from church for breakfast. I think i'm gonna get Fish & Chips and Hot Coco. I'm glad I could share these things with you. If this speaks to anyone or whatever, please respond back too me. I guess I really do care what an impact I make on you the reader. God Bless
