******* REVIVAL FIRE!!! *******
I truly must be out of my mind as I do not long to leave this life or this world just yet. Allow me to take a few moments to clarify on Aarons post, from my perception as a friend and overseer, and to apologize for the extreme passion that seeps from this current generation. (I only apologize to the offended as that is not our desire)
First – the word states that we are Joint Heirs to the Kingdom and that we have been predestined to adoption. Then we know that God is longing to establish His Kingdom here on this earth. Why would I want to go somewhere else then where God longs for me to be. He did not create heaven for me, in fact, heaven is not even our destination, we are going to get a NEW EARTH when this is all done.
No – I long for the promise, your Kingdom come – Your will be done on EARTH as it is in Heaven.
Christians are always wanting to go to heaven, and have heaven experiences. Yet when you read the Bible, God spends all of His time coming down to earth! Why? Because He loves being in the midst of His people, He loves intimacy, He loves His creation. He is inhabited in our Praise. I want to be where God is, and God is moving HERE.
Second – I am with Dave Dolve on this one. Am I always happy with the church? NO, But I am not always happy with myself either, yet God loves me the same.
I am glad that He is a gracious God slow to anger and abounding in loving kindness and grace.
He allows me to become the man I should be to sustain my destiny. The same with the church. God does not want to cut the bride off – He wants the Bride to be restored and walk in the Glory she has.
The church right now is in need of Christians standing in it and shining, just as much as the darkness. Not Christians giving up and running away. Or getting frustrated and quitting.
Do I long for Christians to become transformed and no longer rely on programs and functions to trick people into the kingdom? Yes. But I also long for radicals who understand submission, servant hood, and the Kingdom mentality. Who do not flee at the very sign of correction or maturity.
Well praise God that He has grace for us all.
Right now we are seeing the spirit move and a combination of both the church and the extremist meeting on same territory and having to work together. That will require growth and that will require maturity and the Character (fruits of the Spirit) of Christ.
I just pray that we all last long enough to become the Bride we are intended to be, And I THINK WE WILL! That is a REVIVAL right there…..
So – put away the pitch forks and the torches, and lets join together and lay hold of the promise and see the GLORY FALL!
Thrilled that we are so hungry and excited that you all care!
On the front lines and loving every bit of it
