Shaping History through Prayer & Fasting Outpouring Fast 2:00 P.M. Sunday September 14th to 2:00 P.M. Friday September 19th Dear Eric, Last week the Lord spoke to me about calling a time of fasting and prayer for the Outpouring meetings.  Within a few days I was contacted by the heads of two different prayer groups that regularly lift up the outpouring both informing me that God was telling them to pray and fast.  Therefore, I am calling a time of fasting and prayer for the Outpouring from 2:00 P.M. on Sunday September 14th to 2:00 P.M. on Friday September 19th.  The Hebrew word for fast literally means to "shut ones mouth."  Some people take this to be water only.  Others take this to mean no solid food.  In the Book of Daniel a fast found in chapter 10 verse 3 where Daniel says: " I ate no choice food; no meat or wine touched my lips; and I used no lotions at all until the three weeks were over." There is also the Jewish tradition of fasting from sun rise to when the first stars come out.  I personally feel that this may be the word of the Lord for this fast however, I am not asking you to fast in any particular way.  I am simply declaring the fast and asking each of you to participate in some way and to make sure that you take special times to pray.  If you can gather in small groups to pray that would be even better.  If one can chase a thousand two can chase ten thousand (Deuteronomy 32:30).  One of my personal favorite scriptures for fasting is 2 Chronicles 20.  I suggest that you read and meditate upon it during these five days. He said: "Listen, King Jehoshaphat and all who live in Judah and Jerusalem! This is what the LORD says to you: 'Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God's."  2 Chronicles 20:15 A few months ago my friends at Woodland House of Prayer sent a gift to us of a case of "Shaping History through prayer and Fasting" by Derek Prince with a forward by Lou Engle.  My copy of this classic from Bible college is dog eared and falling apart.  As you know, I truly believe that the purpose of the Outpouring is to Shape History in our region.  I believe that this fast is a key to this goal.  I will be giving these books out over the course of the next week.   You can pick one up at River Rock Truckee Sunday morning or at the next Outpouring meeting coming this Friday September 19th at John Ascuaga's Nugget in Reno.  May the Lord bless you richly as you embark upon the adventure of prayer and fasting to shape history.  Pastors Eric & Wendi Moen pastoreric@rrcf.net www.renooutpouring.com (530) 320 4993 Join Our Mailing List

For you have gone lusting away from your God; you have loved a reward on every grain floor. The floor and the winepress shall not feed them, and the new wine shall fail in her. The threshing floor is also the place where God examines heart motives. Those who have hearts full of covetousness, seeking promotion and reward at the floor will be disappointed. God declares no wine will come forth from them – they are not chosen to be vessels dispensing the wine of the third day. Nor will they will not be nourished by the proceeds of the threshing floor. Ruth, on the other hand, embodies the company who go to the threshing floor seeking the Bridegroom and not His rewards. She lies down at His feet, in the place of a servant. She wants Him not His benefits. As a result, He pours six measures of barley into her widow's mantle. Those who go with clean hands and a pure heart to the threshing floor come away full. Those who come with hidden agendas are sent away empty-handed. The hidden motives of the heart are brought into plain sight as God separates with His winnowing fan. What is in our hearts – do we know what is motivating us from deep within? Prayer: Father, search me and know my heart. Find out if there is any wicked way in me and lead me in the way everlasting, amen.

     Standup2cancer has been a new means of media to raise cancer awareness. The Other Night I turn on the television, and see a line of "secular" singers standing up and singing to raise awareness for cancer research.People paid to do a good act, people locked in the world of fame and fortune, stand as our representatives to goodwill..? Being a previous volunteer for the Leukemia and Lymphoma society I raisied thousands of dollars towards he cause, and am fully aware on how cancer research is at and always been in high demand, but how much longer? California has been claimed to estimate over 55,000 deaths this year, making us to be the highest in the country, and here we are almost thru. If I could rate howmany were healed in this period, I wonder what those correspondance would be..devistating or not? Millions of dollars are raised, hours of research are spent, loved ones are lost,people lose hope....yet we wait, they wait and we watch the hourglass...disipade, because we think that money will solve our countries problems...our finances, our treatments, our misfortunes.....waiting for that answer, that one of hundreds of diseases to disappear..for good...."We got it", "we found the cure,"...So we stand up....standing tell the curtains close...armed in one hand, defenseless in the other..

 

It is exhausting. It is painful to watch. There are alot of sacrifices made, and suffering that is unbearing but must be sustained. It takes a majority of time out of your day.. It takes millions of tears in the process, living on the edge. It isn't an easy sight in this place nor is it easy spending hours in a hospital bed among them ether... alot easier to sit at a bedside eating hospital food and watching movies and laughing then to be in one and not have a say in what someone is going to be doing to you..knowing you have no other choice. When your incapable of doing something and are young, you don't have a right to democrac, it is then up to your parents that could determine your whole life. You can't go chose your own food, someone else has to get it for you... your  stuck in a room..... Needles pinching at you, nurses bothering you day into the hours of the night. A good nights rest is in your dreams. You cant go anywhere without the possiblities of getting an infection praying to god that this "isn't the day" you will lose it all, sent again...or gone, and you want to be with your loved ones but you love them too much to upset them. Sometimes you dont want to talk to anybody.... No one understands how you feel and you get to watch everyone go about their day like nothing is wrong and see a smile on peoples faces... wishing underneath it all this was how you felt, happy, confident, seld asssured.. but you put one on anyways, cause you have no idea..you know you have to...if you dont you looked scared to death.....

  This is the life of a cancer patient and this is he rest of the "dying", contemplative, confused, helpless, in there beds world of darkness, penitrated minds of the lost world... that crys out thru its veins..crying with a pilliow over their heads, thinking the outside revolving world doesn't hear them. This is how are world feels and sees it, as punishment.....when it is in sin that first created temptation which relished... then the cancers, the lies, the wicknedness...so they are waiting for that diagnoses, in hope, and purpose.. of ether a living god and eternity to Reveal itself as a way of LIFE before their time is up..or they're Fiercly drawing towards finding the excavation of a hell that awaits them... because no one sent the message to them, it was invisible to them..... yet we christians are handed the utilies to give these refugees the best treatment ever offered by the very drips of his drawn blood
 and yet Gods representatves of spirit filled nurses,doctors, miracleworkers, hold it from them like its ours to keep..
 
   It should't take a cure for the representatives of the kingdom of GOD, to go out and embark on what we know to be true about Gods ways, GODs abilities, and HIS supreme loving power!. What do we have to realize, stratigize, rule-out, and research, in order to make it happen, why cant we just do it, we are warriors on the front lines, we cannot stand behind the enemy watch him ruin lives, we must stand up against it!  IS their a molecule that we must find to realize and wake up to say "oh, well molecules and atoms all make up the same junction, come up in the same matter, all work together as one function as one whole being to accumulate that the only thing that is of the matter, is what creates it this way GOD.!..The ONE and only LiVing, breathing GOD that has ahold of all the science, data and resolutions, in his special supernatural calculator...having the very answers in those flawless, annointing, glorious hands of his, punctured in and ready to put together a masterpiece of refined, transformed, and restored work, in him. HE is just wondering what takes us so long to figure out that their is no reasoning to our problems...but has provided us with the tools, the resources and facts, in his book of LAW stating the very keys and codes that can revelate into one perfect answer...HIM!

    Lets not hold it back anymore. Lets get out or gloves and lets do the tasks god has instructed us to do. God is a moving, breathing, god who is at work,and works all day and night but hasn't said his work was finished, so why over the centuries have people been packing their bags ready to go somewhere because of answer to his phone call. We aren't ready to move into our residency in heaven yet untel our work is polished and hung up for eyes and wonders to see and when he says its done, is when you can take a seat...he calls you out to get the job done, at hand, and ready to witness an encounter with him like never before...an encounter with him face to face and hand in hand...the dead to rise, the lives turned upside down towards a brighter future, the people of loss and poverty towards the riches at heavens doorstep that awaits, the sins of this earth to no longer prevail, dictate and co nsume more lives, but the heart that keeps us alive....The freedom that heaven awaits, the gold and crowns instore..think the impossible he will do the impossible....reach out your hand to another, he will hold you up.. So lets not wait by standing up for a cure as the answer, Go be the cure and you will find the answer...it is embedded everywhere, amongst everything, and everyone. Aren't you tired of watching it happen.Well he's tired, but well awake enough to do something about it. Are you tired of watching the news of things constantly wrong. It makes him look bad but he doesn't care about his reputation.. A good deed starts with you, the root of love can manifest the grounds of the earth and spread like a wild fire so GO and follow..in love, take a stand on our brothers and sisters like he does and go for a walk....this is our jesus.....  plant a smile on these faces....

[revival-fire] What A Night !!!

******* REVIVAL FIRE!!! *******    

Last night at Club Retro was wild and crazy. The presence of God was so thick and heavy that it was hard to bare. Seeing the next generation going after God's heart with fire and passion is just beyond what's beautiful and awesome. They were worshipping and doing warfare with total abandon. Some were slain in the Spirit, some danced their hearts out, some cried as a response to the overwhelming glory that settled on all of us. I totally immersed into this river of glory that flowed from the throne-room of God, along with these wonderful young warriors. I couldn't hold my tears back. I was weeping and crying not because I was bothered about anything in particular in my life, but because of the sparkling beauty of the devotion and sincerity I saw in these amazing young kids. They are getting it !!!  They are getting what's most important. They are getting God's heart and running with it with fire and passion. It is contagious !


While I was soaking it all in I had a vision where I saw warrior angels surrounding these young people, commissioning each and every one of them for battle, giving them Tailor made weapons to fight with. Club Retro was full of these mighty and glorious warrior angels. I have never seen so many of them at once. It was like a heavenly army invading our realm fighting alongside us. I saw these young kids dressed in full armor, holding their weapons and with great confidence reflecting on their faces, they began to attack the enemy's camp. As they were getting closer and closer I saw terror on the faces of demons. They were utterly confused by the fearless confidence and the glorious power these Young warriors possessed. The demons looked at each not knowing if they were to attack or flee. As these mighty young warriors pressed in on them they had no choice but to flee, and they fled indeed shrieking in terror. I don't have enough words to describe the magnitude and the magnificence of this vision in all it's majestic colors, sounds and  atmosphere. It's beyond our earthly realm.


Just a few minutes after this, I hear  Pastor Matt calling forth these kids to be commissioned as warriors, making a brotherhood covenant with all of them. Then he called them into wage war against the spiritual principalities of the air, into which they eagerly entered. They called out to the 4 corners of the earth to arise and fight. The way these kids are warring is just amazing to see and witness. They are mighty, they are powerful, they are confident and they are so real. Last night, we experienced the forces of Heaven colliding with Earth. There's true Revival happening at Club Retro. Last Night was a night that all of us participating will remember for a long time unless forever. It was a defining moment for the more glorious and the more powerful things of God to come.


Without a doubt, God is raising up a generation of fearless, fierce, confident and mighty warriors all around the globe. The youth at Family is just one of the many groups God is preparing for battle. When they will join forces, the impact that they'll execute on the forces of spiritual wickedness will be deadly. I am still wiped out from all that was going on at Club Retro last night. What a night !!!


I'm so proud of all of you young people and feel very privileged to fight alongside you. You guys are our greatest treasure !!! You are our future !!! Love you all !!!

     im back people. anyway last night was a night I, matt, and many other people wont forget. matt spoke about invading the world, actually its written in the book of Acts (1:8), matt just relayed it. No im not bringing matt down. His point was that we have tried to coexist with the world, not taking any chances with filling it with the supernatural presence of God. He shouldnt have to reinform us of our calling. That is our calling. being a Christian wasnt supposed to be "believe Jesus and go to heaven." We have a CALLING. We are a CHOSEN GENERATION. What we, including me, need to do is take hold of that calling and CHOOSE to be that generation. While we are safe in our little Christian Community. people are dying and going to hell. Those people are our own flesh and blood (Blake said that, as i feel i should acknowledge him). its that simple.

     church i believe is supposed to be not only a place of worship, but of fellowship and reconstruction, building each other up, and taking on the world together. Thinking we can take on the world by ourself is foolish courage (and fairly stupid). We need our brothers and sisters (and above all others the Good God Almighty) to invade the world with the Indescribable Power of God.  Lets take the want off "I want to be part of the chosen generation" and replace it with am. "I am part of the chosen generation." Dont look to what is going to happen in the future, but how what you do now affects it. We are called to be world changers. We need to lay hold of our calling. If you tryout for a sport, and you get a call back from the team saying they want you, and you just sit on your butt, theyre going to look for someone else. Lay hold of your calling, OUR calling, and invade the world as the family of God.< /div>

Bass Lake, Ca.

The service will be held outdoors on the Lakes edge.  It will be a very casual and friendly setting.

After a short worship and teaching on water baptism and personal ministry time, we will head

for the water and baptize everyone that would like to be baptized.

 

So, if you know someone that needs the Lord, and has never been baptized .. or maybe someone

that may want to be re-baptized and would feel more comfortable in an outdoor setting like this,

bring them along.  The MRC folks will love on them and the Lord will bless them.

 

Bring your casual clothes, swim suit and a towel.

For food it is picnic style .. we ask everybody to bring fried chicken, or whatever they like to eat

but bring half again to double what your party can eat.  That way we all share and there is always

plenty for everybody .. and if any new comers show up with no food we've got them covered!

[revival-fire] Last Night

******* REVIVAL FIRE!!! *******
After reading Matthews email I had to share that the same anointing was present in our meeting last night with Stephan Strader. Many were visibly touched by the power of God. Many laughed, wept, cried out to God, and rejoiced. Many were not able to get off the floor for quit some time. The meeting started at 7:00 P.M. and people were still going at 10:30 or 11:00. I'm not really certain of the time. Because I wasn't able to tell time.

As I watched people being ministered to, I couldn't help but begin to weep myself. Just knowing that Daddy was touching His Kids with His HEART of LOVE again.

We'll be taking testimonies tonight so I'll write more in the next couple of days.

Canyonville Oregon was on fire last night with the glory and power of God.
