MAUI REPORT
We have just completed the Maui portion of the crusade and we can
report that God is moving in the Hawaiian Islands. In fact, there is a
strong witness of a "brewing" of a powerful move of the Holy Spirit
here. Our pastors brunch in Kihei was inspiring and very
encouraging to all who came. There were 14 churches represented
and 23 Pastors present .. plus other leaders and church members.
The hotel/restaurant conference room was just about packed out!.
The spirit of hunger and unity among them was awesome and they
were all caught up into a "Spirit Filled" time of worship and praise
to Him!!
As the keynote speaker I stepped up to deliver my prepared message,
but ... the Lord took it another direction. I never did get to "my"
message. I only spoke about 20 minutes, which is a miracle by itself,
but everyone seemed riveted to the words as they came forth. There
was genuine hunger and spiritual maturity in the congregation!!!
Pastor Chris Mannoia of Life Builders Church, and his team were the
ones that put the gathering together, with the help of Pastor Barbara
Tengan of Door of Faith Church, who (I think) is president of the Maui
Ministerial Fellowship. Pastor Barbara had us minister in her church
that Sunday evening .. it was a powerful service and she has an
awesome desire for a move of God!! She has invited us to return and
even stay in their church's preachers quarters called "the Eagles
Nest" .. smile!!
Several other Pastors have asked us to come back to their churches
also and we are excited to accept. We really do feel a connection to
Hawaii .. even though it is "Paradise." GRIN!!!
Our meetings with Pastor Chris were much more than "just good
church." He and his people have a burn for unity and revival in Maui
and the islands. Our hearts and their hearts connected. He and his
beautiful wife Laura have committed to travel and minister with us
on future crusades to the nations. They want to learn and grow in
spreading the fires of Healing and Revival!!! It was his heart and
efforts that God used to bring us to Maui and to open the door to
our part of the "Healing and Revival ministry of Jesus Christ."
Healing, deliverance, encouragement, a fresh revelation of Jesus
Christ ... and Holy Ghost Fire ... happened in Maui!!!
SHOUT PRAISE THE LORD SOMEBODY!!
Now we are on the Big Island at Kona and we begin meetings
tomorrow night with Pastor Damien Wong of Kona Life Church.
Damien has added a Wed night (at his house) since we posted the
schedule below. We should also note that Damien is our original
contact in Hawaii. He intruduced us to Chris Mannoia and is
responsible for most of the contacts on this crusade. It appears
that God is using him mightily here, and, to open the Islands to our
ministry. Damien has an Apostolic mantle and a proven healing
anointing himself, and has a burning desire to see unity and
revival in the state of Hawaii.

Today Grace and I are enjoying our only day of the trip that we
don't preach or travel. Its beautiful!!!

"PROPHETIC INSIGHTS AND ENCOURAGEMENTS RE HAWAII"
1. In May 2008 a member of Mariposa Revival Center, Dave Breemer, was visiting
a church in Kona and during service stood up and prophesied that he saw
a wave of revival coming to the Hawaiian Islands.
2. Before leaving Cal for this trip we were prayed over and the prophetic word came
forth that a "spiritual volcano" would errupt in Hawaii.
3. On the flight down on United Grace said "there is a light spirit on this plane."
I agreed .. then a bit later I was in the back galley stretching my legs and getting a
fresh cup of coffee .. and struck up a conversation with a flight attendant and found
out that he was "spirit filled" .. then 3 more came into the galley and were on a bit of
a break, and they were all spirit filled. We had church right there shouting praises
to God ... flying 500 miles an hour toward Hawaii!!!! After that they kept coming by
our seats and we were Glorifying the Lord with everyone listening .. and no negativity
develpoed anywhere in the plane.
4. At the Maui airport the Thrifty Car Rental agency had "Jesus Loves You!" and other
scriptures taped across every computer all the way across the reservation desk. I
asked my clerk "do you really believe that?" and she agressively said "I sure do!"
I shouted "Praise the Lord" with her right there in the agency office.
5. It was in the Pastors Brunch, when I witnessed the hunger and anticipation there
before I preached, that the Lord took me back to all the above and gave me the
witness that I was to put it all together as a prophetic sign that He is doing something
"uncommon" in Hawaii. And, don't mean just in our meetings, but something much
bigger than all of us.
6. A MARIPOSA CONNECTION ... When the official part of the luncheon was over
Mr. Myles Kawakami, author of GOD IS MY BUSINESS PARTNER came up to me
and said "you know there is a Mariposa connection to Hawaii." He said "The Matson
shipping line which is founded and based in Hawaii had one of its main freighters that
ran between Hawaii and the west coast named THE MARIPOSA.
Then after the evening service with Life Builders Church at the Baldwin High School
that night I stepped outside the meeting room for a moment and Pastor Viheart
Keawe, an older Hawiian native from a community up the mountain on Maui, said the
same thing to me. "In the mouth of two or more ... ??"
Both Myles and Pastor Keawe shared more details about this but I can't remember
everything that was said. Myles is sending me books on past revivals in Hawaii.
They tell me that in the 1800s when the first missionaries came to the Islands that
over 90% of the Islanders became Christians. Thats incredible and very prophetic!!!
There is also a prophecy out there from Cindy Jacobs that goes something like
Hawaii being the first Christian state .. we are going to check that one out.
Then just a bit ago, I was talking to Tony Davis who works with Pastor Damien, and
he tells me that there is a Hawaii/California connection. Possibly through Sutter
being sent to California by the Hawaiian Queen in the 1800s.
Tony also told me that there is an "uncommon" prayer movement (IHOP Style) going
on at the YWAM campus here in Kona as we speak .. 4 times a week.
I believe Hawaii is in for a mighty move of God!!! Intercessors may I encourage you to
crank it up!!! Some of you will be reading this from all parts of the globe ..
LETS ALL STAND FOR HAWAII AND PRAY FOR REVIVAL!!!!!
P.S. Anyone that can help in clearfying any of the above, please do so. I know I
have the spirit of it right, but I know some of the facts need to be adjusted and
some of the blanks filled in. There may even be much more to the story. Let me
know and we will put it out to the people.

Recently, the Lord has been speaking to many of us out of the book of Haggai. The story of Haggai is really a rebuke from God that people are putting their own interests first before building the house of God and because of that are suffering financial crisis. This coming week we will continue our search for a home for River Rock in Reno by meeting with the owner of a beautiful place for River Rock to make a home to honor the presence of God and to worship Him. We are scheduled to meet Tuesday afternoon and would welcome you prayers and support.
