[revival-fire] An Outpouring in the Middle of Nowhere

******* REVIVAL FIRE!!! *******
It's been a while since I've posted anything here. Thanks Rich for the reminder to tell our stories. The testimony of Jesus IS the spirit of prophecy.

I've been the pastor of Living Word Chapel here in Forest Wisconsin for 20 years. We've seen some mighty good times through those years but none as good as now! Since coming under the watch and care of The River earlier this year the Kingdom of God is quite literally rocking our world. Before you can truly appreciate the previous claim you need to understand something. Right now, as I glance out my office windows I'm looking at cow pasture for as far as the eye can see! We are a church of 150 in a town of 15. Last night I counted 6 nations represented in attendance in our packed mid-week service and when we prayed for the healing of the USA in the middle of this cow pasture, our building shook with the presence of God. Also, as I looked out at my flock I counted 4 guys on the front 2 rows fresh from jail and now in an upstart treatment ministry called Impact born out of this cow pasture church. These guys were shouting praise for their deliverance.Sitting next to them is the leader of this ministry who just testified under oath in a local court of the saving power of King Jesus so that another young man can be sent for healing (paid by the state...shhh....don't tell anybody!).

Sometimes I have to laugh when I get Christian junk mail inviting me to conferences where I can learn how to "take my city for Jesus". We've had to learn how to disciple the nations while taking care not to step on a cow pies when we march and pray. Anyway, here's my point...Bill Johnson loves to say, "Jesus was born in a barn; apparently He's not too picky about where He shows up as long as He's welcome". We've been calling what's happening out here, "The Forest Flood"...The American Awakening IS going on out here in the middle of nowhere...if it can happen here, it can happen anywhere! I am massively grateful to Rich Oliver and The River crew for the prayer cover that is a clear part of what we're enjoying out here in "fly over" country. A dear lady I've never met stopped by my office yesterday to "agree with me for revival to come"....I had to tell her, "I appreciate your heart, but I'm not praying for revival. I'm busy HAVING one". She seemed disappointed.....
