Hello Kelly, I know how you must feel, 3 years ago I went to a revival service and the power of God was there, I remember everything from the awesome worship to the message and even thinking about how I should have invited my brother to the service with me, when it was all over and I was on my way home my wife was checking my phone messages and then i found out that my brother was killed in an automobile accident, this was june 9, 2005. My heart was broken and I didn't know what to think, I was numb for a few days, and then it really hit me, all I knew was that I needed to preach like it was my last sermon in honor of my brother and also to trust that the Lord knew what He was doing and to tell everyone that my brother knew and even who he ministered to all about who Jesus was and I even got to speak at the funeral and I just let it all out, it was all about Jesus and how He wanted to have a relationship with everyone, you see i am from a native american family and you know how it is to minister to native people. There was alot of people who wanted to know about Jesus from that time alot of my family and some of my brother's friends have come to know the Lord since then, God does have a plan to turn every bad situation into something He can use for His glory,Just be obedient, and God Bless you. Your brother in the Lord Sidney.

******* REVIVAL FIRE!!! *******
Most of the subjects I've posted recently have been about the many deaths that have happened here on the Hoopa Reservation.
We have so many different emotions and feelings when we hear about another person passing on. I can't speak for everybody but, I usually say a prayer and thank God my family is safe and sound. That hasn't been the case recently.
On June 2nd my nephew was coming back from Eureka which is about an hour away. He called me at around 10 oclock pm to let me know he was on his way home. At 12:30 am there was a knock at the door and a sheriff and two tribal police officers were there to tell me my nephew was in an accident and didn't make it. Devastation is an understatement. I've muddled through so far, going through all the motions and all the arrangements and all the people with good intentions. I thank God for the most part for these people. They kept me from coming out of shock. But, now that it's time to move on and the shock is wearing off, I feel very sad......................................
I know God has a purpose and a plan for everything and everybody but, the pain dosen't get any less intense. My nephew was only 24 years old and leaves behind two beautiful babies. daughter 3 yrs. old and son 2 yrs. old. I feel guilty sometimes asking the question "why"?, because I know why. Well, at least I believe I know that God's will, will be done.
Please God, give me the strength to know there is a bigger plan of yours in the works here.
Kelly
