Matthew 21:12-16.  Jesus drove out all those who were buying and selling in the temple.  Then he healed the blind and lame.  The chief priests and teachers saw this and also heard the excited children and chose to be offended instead.  Bill's point is that the Lord hardly ever presents something that is iron clad without something ''against' it!  That's also why when we receive a revelation from scripture of our destiny/purpose, we will almost 'always', immediately have a contradictory circumstance!

It's because many christians have diligently prayed to be used and God's using the minefields of life to monitor the responses and attitudes of the hearts!  In these scriptures the spiritual leaders saw the wonderful things Jesus did and heard the children praising Jesus, as the Son of God.  But they had no theological room for this!

The point is, 'Every move of God carries offenses--it's 'Essential'!  Often times the offense is a legitimate complaint!  This is shown in the great moves of God.  Azusa Street - the most significant move in history as far as impact on the nations!  Yet, there were legitimate complaints because of abuses.  Latter Day Rain movement was rejected almost wholesale, because of some bad prophetic words.  Yet the overall movement was extremely significant and profound.  It's like the Lord never allows things to be perfect, because the element of offense is 'very important' to God!  In our time it includes Toronto and now Lakeland, FL with Todd Bentley...

The Lord almost always allows something unexplainable, uncontrollable, something that brings offense--to see if we will disregard the blessing we have been given and pick up instead, an offense!

The spiritual leaders in these verses had never seen anything like these miracles and heard children responding this way.  They lost sight of what God was doing in order to make a religious point and took up offenses! 

  God's been sending prophets to Bethel to warn them in the last 12 years about becoming offended.  With this next wave, that's already started--be very careful!  Also, when you become insightful, because of revelation from God, you are positioned to equip others but you are also positioned to be easily offended by those who do not  see and do the way you received it.    Bill and his team have very good friends that are diametrically opposed to one of their views but he still just celebrates Jesus with them.  Bill's had a revelation but can't prove every point by scripture--but it's not contrary to scripture.  Be careful or you can lose your revelation and power.  Concentrate only on what God has and is doing but not on what He hasn't  done.  So there's 'no room' for offense there either.  

Pray that we have an unusual, supernatural grace to celebrate the good things He has done!

I, Joan, submit that the recent prophetic word I e-mailed about Sobering Judgment For San Francisco... (Wendy Alec) falls into this category of 'warning' about being offended against each other and even against God!  That's why I typed and sent this to all of you.  We ALL need to keep this foremost in our minds as we live in these challenging days!  Redding, CA is mentioned in the prophetic word and as they are following God's plan, they're having 'awesome' results!

May God keep you in His perfect peace as your mind is stayed upon Him!
