Re: [revival-fire] God is on the move!

******* REVIVAL FIRE!!! *******

                                                  GOD ON THE MOVE!!!

For me, it probably started with the Prayer Tents done by Redding Transformation last year. That was when I was able to be on the Shasta College campus praying for the students who came by.  Then, two months later, our local Aglow Lighthouse moved the monthly meetings to a room on campus.  Since then, the Lord sent me to Shasta as a full time student.  I have adopted the Shasta College campus as my mission field, along with many others.

Everywhere I turn now on campus, I see students who are disciples of Christ, who carry His presence with them, myself and my daughters included.  We are in every class, every department, every sport and extracurricular activity and creative arts program.  Our presence there is making a difference.  One example is how the Lord transformed the dance program semester finale, which included four performances that glorified Christ and brought His presence into this community event.

The Lord had put it on my heart to start taking dance classes, and He gave me the boldness to consider submitting a student piece for the Dance Matrix. He showed me to start working on doing worship flags to the Revival In Belfast worship song titled "Garments of Praise".  Next thing I knew, I had a team of two dancers, and three flaggers encircling me as I used my big white worship flags to worship Him!  We started slowly, then as you might know if you are familiar with the piece, the pace picks up!  We start with a "spirit" of heaviness and then by faith receive His "joy as our strength alone" and transition into a joyous irish reel type of dance.  I have heard many stories since of those who were there that the Lord used this song as a breakthrough tool to cut thru the darkness and to allow His kingdom to manifest there, in the threatre, and I have to believe in and thru the campus also.

I have since heard many stories of how the Lord used this song as a breakthrough tool, cutting thru the darkness some people were feeling, allowing His Kingdom to manifest there in the theater.  One person in the audience described it like this: "I remember sitting there observing the different acts thinking, 'Oh, that was nice,' or 'That was different,' but not really fully engaging.  On an intellectual level, everything was interesting, however, I was on guard emotionally as some acts were somewhat extreme for me. Then came the flags... I was amazed.... could this be happening in this venue??, could God inhabit the worship even here!  From amazement to a relaxing of all walls along with a sense of God's presence and anointing, then such a joy in being able to experience such pure worship in such a place. Refreshing of the soul, everything exactly right and in place, deep peace and rejoicing at the same time.  It stirred in me such a desire to worship God in purity and in holiness and in holy array.  It made me desire to experience worship in dance with flags.  God's presence was tangible and seemed to be washing over us in waves."   I felt like many in the audience let out a deep sigh of all they had been  holding back and received.

Here is a third testimony. "Hi Hellen!  I would be happy to give you my thoughts about your dance for the Shasta College recital. It has been a while but it was so moving it won't take much effort to dig up the details.

First off the whole show was in good taste. I delighted in seeing Kendra and you
in a new light. Then for your dance, I have told you before I just love that
music you picked-very worshipful and diverse. What I sensed through your dance
was a preparing of the area and of our hearts to receive of the Lord; with the
flags waving and feet moving things were being banished. Also the unity of the
movements of the dancers and the actual movements themselves of circles and
such invited, even beckoned the presence of our King. Then as the dance with
the red liquid unfolded, we were that much more receptive to the ministry of
the Holy Spirit. I must say something about the audience also: we were like one
thanking Holy Spirit for blessing us with His presence. It was quite an awesome
experience and in such an unexpected place ' Judy

Another friend said "What you brought forth that evening was a beautiful expression of creative worship.  The atmosphere was super charged with the releasing of God's presence in our midst.  My spirit and all my senses were soaring."

The college paper, The Lance, even spoke of the impact of an immensely powerful piece that embodied applying the blood of Christ, this is most of the second half of the article by Shanal Martin   staff writer.
"During intermission, everyone was stuck on the last dance, which was "Manna (What is it)" choreographed by Daniel Arizmendi and performed along with Michel Chord and Hanna Luge, it caused quite a stir among the crowd.  While some stood and yelled "encore, encore!" others seemed uncomfortable.  the music was by artist, Suzy Willis Yarai, a song called, "We are Shining".  The dance portrayed three people going back and forth to this golden bucket of paint (the blood of Christ) and whipping it on themselves.  No matter what you believed, it was such a powerful piece, whether you liked it or not it was still moving.

A third song spoke of Beauty for Ashes and another piece about angels and God.  How cool is it that when we are obedient?!! God will use our little bits and build them into a powerful move of the Kingdom!!  There were also several thoughtful pieces, while not Christian, were ones that I believed the Lord used to open hearts to His healing and restoration.

Afterwards, there was an openness and receptivity to prayer that had not been evidenced prior.  In fact, when the prayer tent opened up at the campus a few weeks later, we had a variety and diversity that we had not had in previous prayer tent seasons.  The tent was a hotspot on campus for people of all ages and needs!

This is just a small panorama of what the Lord doing there.  The Lion of Judah is on the move in Shasta County and at Shasta College!!  I can't wait to go back on campus this fall and see what He has planned next!!!
