[revival-fire] Why does it Matter

What should revival really look like?

I think we would all agree that revival should transform the region around it.  That revival is more than what simply takes place in a building on a Friday night or a Sunday morning (even though that is where we get rocked and equiped and excited!).  We know that Revival requires change, normally first in the church, then it should seep out and change the world around it.

The test should be not us saying, "God is among us."  But the world around us taking note and saying, "God is there!"

Why does it matter – I believe that what is taking place in Northern California is revival.  Not in the terms of weekly meetings or packed houses, but in the terms of world transformation.

Recently us here at Club Retro – in Orangevale – received a call from MTV.

They are coming to Sacramento to do some survey's on trends and fads of youth in the region.  What is popular, what the style is of Northern Ca.  They called up Club Retro because the rumor is that Club Retro is the "Happening" spot in the region.  They have asked to come out and do interviews and questioning of our staff, and attendees. 

"WE ARE TRANSFORMING THE REGION!"

They don't even know that we are at a church……PRAISE GOD!

Then –

We received a call from our local mall, the Men's Macy's has asked CONSECRATED to come in and do the music for their Back to School sales event. 

We told them – WE DO LOUD WORSHIP MUSIC!  That we would praise God the whole time.  That we would pray for healings, and that we would take over the mall!

They said PLEASE COME!

So this week we will be in our local MALL – bringing down the glory CONSECRATED style!

MTV will be chatting with us!

We have seen some wild salvations – people calling up saying I have to get my life right!

Literal transformation.  It is an exciting time to be on the front lines.
