******* REVIVAL FIRE!!! *******
Beautifully said Cher. Sometimes the action is in the "sitting". There is a book from Watchman Nee called, "sit, walk, stand". He was a Chinese minister in the early 1900's that died after 20 years in prison for preaching about Jesus in Red China. His teachings were published and are rich. Often the ways of the Kingdom are opposite from that of the world. The world's definition of "action" involves "busy"ness, and often we come to Christ and feel like we need to be put to work right away. The intention is often to work and show Him how much we love and appreciate what He's done for us. The intention is beautiful, but sometimes can distract from the RELATIONSHIP that needs to be developed. I have learned that in the Kingdom, the work is in the sitting. True ACTION occurs when we SIT with Jesus for as long as it takes for Him to make the crooked things straight, and to bring the mountains level and to raise the valleys up. We find that the more we sit with Him, when He calls us to stand, walk or fly. The effort is minimal in comparison to the effectiveness; and, also many pitfalls are avoided that come from acting before our character can handle it. But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.-Isa 40:31 I find that in Kingdom matters, it is always best to think upside down :D I guess what I am trying to say is... the key to gaining momentum in the Kingdom of Our Lord, Jesus Christ.. is to sit with Holy Spirit and see what He sees; I think you will amazed by the "action" that will occur in bringing you to the promises of God.
