[revival-fire] The answer is Jesus!! And the question is...........

******* REVIVAL FIRE!!! *******

The Answer is Jesus! Beautiful glorious ever present ever loving ever omnipotent incredible Jesus!  He is the answer to every question, every pain, every bit of doubt and suffering.  Who to go to, who to trust in who to count on as a mediator and friend.  He is the beloved son of our heavenly Father, the one testified of by our friend and comforter, Holy Spirit.  He is our beloved bridegroom and the one to shepherd us to the high places!!!

And for those of you who wonder what is my question, this time, here you go!  It is, "How the heck do I get out of this pit I am in!!!!  To go back a bit, here is my story.  I went from running hard for God to falling into a pit of despair.  I was wandering around in a daze, bemoaning the fact that I felt that I was trapped, ensnared and ensorcelled into a maze that was both of my own making and made of the deeds of others.  It seems there was no way out till suddenly there was a shift.  God answered my prayers and there was indeed a way out of the maze.  Little did I know, nothing had prepared me to anticipate that the way was straight down.  Deeper and deeper, darker and darker until I fell to the bottom of the pit, a deep abyss from which there was no escape.  I was in the dungeon, living in the depths of despair. As much a prisoner of the depth of my bitterness and rage as I was of my captors.  And the worst thing of all, the ones who, I felt, tripped me up, were ones closer than a brother (or sister).  I ranted and raved, begged and pleaded for the ones who knew me to set me free.  To undo the chains I felt that they had placed on me.  I received the promise that "he (or she) who the Son sets free is free indeed and pondered the inequities of that statement.  How can I be free and be in such pain, such anguish and travail of soul?  Why did the ones who stared at me from the other side my bars not just stop and open the door to the cage?

Then finally, I realized that they were as much a captive as I.  As the light increased, my perspective changed

and I saw bars all around them also.  I had been so busy screaming for them to free me that I did not realize that we were all in captivity> Then, I realized that the captivity did not need to be in us!  We could stay focused on the one who loves us even in the midst of this trial!  Also, the more we tried to break free, the worse things could become.  Kind of like trying to build a new boat on the outside of a leaking ship instead of letting its maker do the repair from the inside out.

All of these things were to prepare for the future, to do healing where none had been allowed before.  To make the vessel fit and ready for it's destiny and future.  Fit for use by it's Master.  And so, I wait.  We all wait.  We pray and ponder, submit and repent and lift all of our burdens to the one who made us.  The author and finisher of our faith, the lover of our souls has a plan and a purpose for us.  He has a plan to use these trials for good, not to let evil win but to teach us to overcome evil and to be formed into the shape and purpose we were created for.  The fiery kiln of the dungeon serves its purpose, He molds us and it makes us a vessel pure of form and of honor of heart.  All that is chaff and unneeded is burned away.  And then finally, we are "done".(atleast for now) The repairs to the ship of our soul are completed.  The Shepherd is the captain and master of our ship/spirit.  He will lift us up from the depths.  He will set us upon the platform of His choosing.  All our struggles are in vain, they only hinder the process.  We now must learn to sit, to submit, to wait, to be dependent on Him, His will and His timing. Every time, everywhere, there is no place that is not to be submitted to Him. He will lift us up.! And so, the answer is again, Jesus, Father God, Holy Spirit! Thankfulness, praise, humility and accepting His peace that passes all understanding! Now, forever, for everything, everyone and every situation.

Have a blessed and Thankful Thanksgiving and rejoice in the one who loves us!!  hellen and family
