| God has been moving in such an awesome way at Destiny Faith Center in Antelope. My husband and I are the Pastors of Destiny and we are partners of the River Fellowship of Ministries as well. I have just got to testify about the glory and anointing of the Lord and what He has done. Words cannot describe what He has done and is doing. PLUS it has only increased in the last few months. Our meetings have gone to such a deep level that there is such anticipation for the next meeting. Dan and I planned to go to Bethel in Redding for the leadership conference the first week of November. However, on Friday morning, October 31 at a Lake Tahoe cabin I fell down 15 stairs and hit a wood wall. So Satan just thought he was going to set us back.....BUT GOD!!! Just the night before we had a blow out anointing meeting and we went to pray over a building and property that God has led us to for several years. All of us had mustard seed in our hands and after praying we threw it in the air and onto the ground. We know that God is going to give us this property. After the meeting we drove up to Lake Tahoe to spend a couple of nights with our son, wife and new grand baby girl. Somehow with help I got to the car and we drove to Truckee. At the hospital in Truckee xrays and a cat scan revealed that I had a 20% compression fracture to my T12 in my spine and a 5 mm instrusion movement toward the spinal cord. I was taken by ambulance on a back board from the hospital in Truckee to Sutter Roseville in Roseville, CA. I explain this only to show how God protected me. I was at Sutter Roseville Trauma ICU for 5 days and got a body brace that I will have to wear at all times when out of bed until February. The doctors told me that I was lucky and fortunate. I said NO, I am blessed and favored. Can anyone say PRAISE THE LORD???!!! They told me that most fractures to the T12 the people are paralyzed or even worse, they don't make it at all. Praise the LORD!! It took 5 days for the doctor to determine I would not need spinal surgery because the body brace was holding my spine in place. I was transferred me to acute rehab in Auburn. There I began to have DIVINE appointments that God would send to my room and people would open up their hearts to me and God would give me the words to say to them.. I was totally dependent on the medical staff, was in severe pain constantly and couldn't do one thing without help or in pain. Yet these people were asking me for help- spiritual help to life's problems. The Word says to be ready in season and out but I will even add to that - even be ready in what we think is the wrong season. What we think is so totally a season that God could not use us He will on greater ways that we can imagine. He showed me that the horrific pain I was experiencing did not compare to the pain and suffering Jesus did for us at the cross. And He would have done it for just one person but He did it for all. More than that, I'm going through this WITH God by my side and Jesus had separation from God. He showed me that if going through my ordeal would change one person's life - it was all worth it. I had nurses and nurse aides and many others on staff and those not on staff come to my room just to talk to me about God and ask questions. I have always said that every moment is a divine appointment but most of them we pass by. God has alerted my spirit to divine KAIROS moments and appointments. The Lord was leading people to my room. What I learned later the hospital staff even labeled my medical file right on the top that my husband and I are pastors of Destiny Faith Center. Praise the Lord!! I had one experience at midnight when a nurse opened her heart to me and I spoke into her life, I reached out my hand to her's and prayed for her. I called my husband that night and began to tell him what God was revealing to me and how I realized I was there for such a time as this to be a minister to people that need a touch or word from God. I decided to lean into where God had me. All the while knowing that - By His stripes I was healed at the cross (and so I am healed NOW) and that He wouldn't give me any more than I could handle. From that experience I began to thank the Lord every time I had pain and proclaimed "By His stripes I was healed". I would pray and thank the Lord for all He is doing and for divine appointments and that my light would shine and draw people to it. Within minutes I would have another person come into my room for ministry. I can't help but share about the Lord. Since then every time I reach out to touch someone's hand there is an impartation that takes place. This is 4th year for our Christmas Toy and Food Drive. We put about 85,000 lights on our house and we are Santa and Mrs. Claus in front of our house and at many stores we partner with. People were asking us if we were going to cancel it for this year because of my injury. From my hospital bed I said "NO WAY!!! It's full steam ahead" What Satan tries to do for evil God is going to use it for good. The word there is "tries" which means Satan does not accomplish that, he only tries to deceive us into thinking he does. There's too many people that need our help and depending on us. So maybe there won't be Mrs. Claus this year but even the doctors said I might could do it by mid-December with the body brace on under my outfit. WHOA! So we will see. The revelation of what Jesus did at the cross is much greater than where we live in our walk. I pray that the revelation of the cross be revealed to every person and even to all of us mature Christians that we would have a deeper revelation of the Lord.
