| Dear Eric, This morning I picked up Stephen Strader, pastor of Ignited Church in Lakeland Florida where the Florida Outpouring took place this last year. Pastor Stephen, his son Jordan, and I went out to lunch and began discussing the upcoming week. The first thing that Pastor Strader mentioned was that he receives so many requests to come speak and this is the first one that he felt released to accept since last summer. I can tell you that I felt a powerful, almost overwhelming blast of the Holy Spirit as I realized that the hand of God was continuing to lead the believers in this region into an incredible destiny.
I was reminded that God is always faithful to finish what He has started. I want to encourage each one of you to seek God and renew strength and your desire to see His plans carried out in this region. Each of you has a calling and a destiny. Don't let the enemy steal them from you.
After the restaurant we headed up the Mount Rose Highway for a tour of Lake Tahoe. During this drive Pastor Strader began to recount the history of Ignited Church and the church that his father pastored in Lakeland. He began to tell me about the Charismatic renewal, about the word of faith, about 1992 when Rodney Howard Brown spent a year with them. How events lead up to the Toronto Blessing and the Brownsville revival. The history of the renewal and Pastor Strader and his father were stories that I had never heard. Pastor Strader told me that he plans to share some of these powerful stories Thursday night. You won't want to miss them
