This is just a short update to let you know we have found the ways to get funds to the places that need it most.
To send funds to Our Father's House, to support what we are doing on the ground right now, please send those funds to Far Reaching Ministries. All funds designated to earthquake relief will go directly to us. Right now we are purchasing and collecting supplies to fill a 30 ton truck. That will run in the neighborhood of $7000.00 USD. The truck will be in the neighborhood of $4000.00. The rest will be used to fill the truck along with supplies collected from local groups, 2 schools and perhaps provincial help also. We are also flying atleast 6 people to Chengdu to join counseling teams at a cost of $400.00USD per person. These are interns that speak English and Chinese. They will accompany teams to the affected areas bringing supplies and comfort. These young men and women will be working hard and I know they will make a huge impact. We will also need to house this team long term and feed them while they are on the ground. In addition to the care and feeding of people on the ground we will need to provide transportation to affected areas. Please lift this up. We intend to be here as long as we are useful, which may be a long time.
Funds to support Heart to Heart will be used by that organization. They are a local organization under the umbrella of the Red Cross. This is the only foreign organization approved to have access and bring relief to all of the affected areas in China.
