[revival-fire] Thank you Lord!

******* REVIVAL FIRE!!! *******

Today I am celebrating the 10^th anniversary of a tremendous miracle of healing God gave me. I needed to just stop and recall His goodness and mercy and love towards me today and through the years! I need to stop and recall not only all that God has done, but most of all, all that He is!

 

I was very ill for 11 years with a very serious and severe, incurable inner ear problem. The worse attacks were the room swaying or spinning, me falling to the floor and hours of being sick. Even laying on my bed, it felt like I was moving and the bed was moving! I am thankful the Lord seemed to give me some warning and I would often times have just enough time to get in my bed with a bucket on the floor. If I tried to sit up I would fall down again. On the mildest days, I still had to lay down usually 3 times a day. I was off balance, feeling like I would fall, and queasy. The more I moved the worse it would get. I could do very little for myself in the way of housework, I had to have help. I also had to have someone do my shopping for me. I could walk only very short distances, not even being able to go as far as my mailbox more than 2 or 3 times a week. How I missed taking long walks! I seldom got to church, and would arrive with room swaying and sick. But GOD! He often touched me during worship and would just pour out His love on me.

 

I want to thank the Lord that very early on, the Lord told me He would heal me. I also want to say thank you Lord for showing me your great love for me; that you loved me on days I felt of little value or worth. He showed me His sweet, consistent, unconditional love. I thank Him for the times of intimacy with my Lord and King. He not only showed me He is my Great Physician, but He was like a very loving, tender nurse. His sweet love for me during this time brought so much healing to me, and I am teary eyed thinking of Him now. He taught me it wasn’t about how much I could do for Him; it was just that I loved Him and wanted time with Him. It was much more important that I was a worshipper and desired time with Him.

 

One thing I missed the most during those days was that I could no longer express my love to the Lord by dancing before Him. I had been dancing before the Lord since the early 70’s, and so missed doing that. I would occasionally just stand up by my bedside and dance for 20 or 30 seconds I suppose before starting to fall. I often would lie in bed listening to worship music and my feet would be moving. In 1998, God healed me totally and completely. It was an immediate healing. If you ever come to Family in Orangevale, and see a tall older lady at the altar area dancing before the Lord it is me!! It has been such a joy to be able to express my love for the Lord by worshipping Him with all I have! He deserves our wholehearted worship. He just pours out His love on me when I do, and I often feel Him holding me and dancing with me. I often just shake under His strong presence and He shows me His heart.

 

I am not wording this as eloquently as I would like to; please forgive me for that, and the tears are flowing. There are not words to express how very much the Lord means to me. He is my dearest sweetheart; His love is indescribable.

 

I want to say thanks to my son and hopefully not embarrass him. Before my son went on the mission field to South Africa, he had to move home for a time to take care of me. He worked fulltime, was helping in a youth group, and going to college at night. He had to do my shopping and housework and sometimes the cooking. This was a tremendous sacrifice for a young man, and a wearying and discouraging job sometimes! He often encouraged me and still does. When he left for South Africa he went with my complete blessing and the assurance that God would take care of me. He left right after Christmas of December 1997, and God healed me on May 28, 1998! God is so good

 

Dear ones, keep believing in God for healing for yourself and others. Don’t give up! I believe that now is the time many that have been waiting will be healed. I also believe many will no longer have to wait a long time on God to heal, but will see very quick healings; many suddenlies from God!
