Can't We All Just Get Along?

No, we can't.

Why are we trying to force the world to accept Christian ideas, and when they blatantly refuse them, we wonder why?

Why shove Godly concepts in the worlds face and expect them to go along with them, all the while forgetting that, Yes, we are at WAR!

When the dawn begins to break, there is no negotiation with the night.  The Sun does not concede any area of the day to darkness.  There is only shining.  There is only invading.  There is only war, there is only victory.

It doesn't speak concepts of shining, it doesn't have a game plan of going forth.  It just rises.  It just simply is.  It is the sun, it shines, that is what it does.  No more or little effort, just shining.  And in the process, darkness flees.

The world has caught on to the fact that Christians who no longer operate in power, present a game plan of power.  We present the concept of power.  We bring it to the table and begin to negotiate with the world.

We present family values, marriage agenda's, censorship, all the while pushing an agenda of Godliness without the God to back it up.

WAIT – does that mean God is not in those things? That is not what I am saying, what I am saying is, SHINE!

When God spoke to Joshua, and said I will give you everywhere you place your foot.  It was not an analogy of otherworldly possibilities.  It was a promise of a supernatural manifestation on this earth. And Joshua took it literally and he invaded the darkness and laid hold of his promise.

He didn't go to the armies of his enemies and threaten their retreat because of the possibilities of the power of His God.  He invaded them, and took back the land. 

My goal is to not find ways to get along with this world, to not offend, to convince people into being a Christian.  My goal is to shine, and in doing so, infect the night with the Light that is in me!

How do we affect the world around us?

By being in it (not of it)!

By being in it and being spirit filled, supernatural warriors, awakened to the destiny that Christ has for us!

By not waiting for a meeting, a prophet, an outreach program.  By being the very outreach program we are waiting for!

By realizing that there is a war going on around us and Christ has equipped you with the very arsenal to defeat them, and that arsenal does not start with legislation, or Sunday morning church.  That arsenal starts with us laying aside our life to pursue His, and then shining!

Just getting that off my chest and encouraging the front line warriors.
