[revival-fire] Peace Overrated?

******* REVIVAL FIRE!!! *******

I am always hearing people talking about "If I have peace" or "I don't have peace about this or that."  We focus so much on this concept of PEACE, which ends up being much more of how we feel, than anything grounded or founded in the word of God.

Peace is not found from the outside.  It is found from the inside, and not the inside of us, but the inside of who Christ is in us.

Let's note a few things – We are said to have peace that surpasses understanding. That means the understanding is that we would not have peace.  That means circumstances, life, issues dictate that if someone else was here, if it was the unsaved, they would be freaking out.

Peter was in Gods will when he was walking on the water. He was in the midst of a miracle. He was one of the few to do something that had not been done before.  And he was before Christ.  Yet, he was not at peace.  He was in the midst of a storm, waves crashing around him, life falling apart, yet, he was still in the midst of Gods will.

What we have done is water down peace to a feeling, it is based on the indigestion from the food we ate the night before.  The pizza we had last night could be the foundation for us moving to Africa or not.

No, peace is not the absence of war, it is not the absence of confrontation or exigent circumstances.  It is the declaration of righteousness.  The supernatural power of Christ rising up in us and declaring the will of God.  Jesus even said that He did not come to bring peace but a sword.  Not because He did not come to bring peace, but because we need a revelation of what true heavenly peace is.

Luke 1 talks about how we bring light to those in darkness and then guide our feet into the way of peace.  Light shining is a very declaration of war.  Yet, it is also a declaration of peace.

Galatians says that peace is a fruit of the spirit, right before Longsuffering!

If you want peace about whatever.  Where you are, the church you attend, the calling on your life.  Find out what your flesh is feeling and put it to death.

The very concept of hungering and thirsting can seem un-peaceful.  Pursuit can appear un-peaceful in our worlds terms.

What we need not do is allow the concept of peace to keep us from ever warring. We cannot use it to keep us ineffective and complacent.

We have a destiny, we are to change the world.

The God of peace – will soon CRUSH satan.  That sounds like my kind of peace!

Remember if peace is only something we feel – and we feel with our senses – and our senses are dictated by our surroundings, our circumstances – and the devil can mess with our circumstances – then what we are saying is that the devil is the dictator of our peace?

NO, my "feelings" do not speak to my "peace" – rather – my "Peace" speaks to my feelings!"

My peace- founded in my God – dictates to all that is around me – and my light shining.  My declaration of war – brings peace to all who are around me.

Now

Have a happy – peaceful – God filled day.

"this little light of mine – is blowing people away!"
