I have been so pleased by all the positive encouragement that I have gotten from local pastors. There is just a buzz of excitement about this Friday night. I feel like the Holy Spirit really wants this Friday to be a breakthrough night.
This is still basically a grass roots movement requiring that each one of us be responsible for passing the word to others so that this move will continue until we see a transformation of this region and the revival come that we have all been praying for. We believe strongly in the priesthood of all believers (1 Peter 2:5,9). Personally my wife and I are so humbled and blessed to be a part of a true sovereign move of God. It has been our hearts desire all our lives. Therefore, we are making it a priority in our lives today.
"anyone who does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me. Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it." Matthew 10:38-39
Each week more people e-mail to say that they want to be a part of this great move of God. If you feel the Holy Spirit leading you to stand with us please e-mail me and let me know.
This week an old friend e-mailed me and told me that he was in a business meeting when the person he was meeting with started telling him about the Outpouring with great enthusiasm. My thanks go out to that person whoever you are. It gives me great encouragement when I hear these things. Let's join together to let this whole region know that God is alive and well here in the Reno/Tahoe area.
Starting at this Outpouring we will be adding a few important things. Number one is that we will be giving everyone an opportunity to start a personal relationship with Jesus so please bring people who need a new friend in Jesus. Secondly, we will be having a separate Outpouring meeting for children! This will be like a children's church where your children will be well taken care of and taught the things of God so you can focus on getting blessed!
Every year we travel to the Philippines and see about 6,000 saved, 2,000 healed, and about 100 Bible studies started of which many turn into churches. This year we are doing a number of Outpouring meetings in populated areas as well. This will be a life changing trip for ten people. Would you like to be one? The apostle Paul encourages us not to be ignorant about spiritual gifts (1 Corinthians 12:1) and to eagerly desire spiritual gifts (1 Corinthians 14:1). In order to play your part in the current Outpouring revival you need to understand spiritual gifts, have them activated in your life, and practice using them so you are prepared to serve God in new and powerful ways.
Therefore, we are teaching the 12 week course "Ministering Spiritual Gifts" from Bishop Bill Hamon's Christian International Wednesday nights beginning September 24th. This course has been taught to over a quarter of a million people. Graduating from this course allows you to take advanced courses at Christian International. In addition, you will be activated in many gifts including the prophetic and healing and be eligible to minister on our prophetic and healing teams.
On Wednesday September 17th we will teach our last healing classe. Come join us and bring someone who needs a miracle.
