Healing Ministry of Nevada County is an official chapter of the International Association of Healing Rooms, Spokane WA. Directions: In Grass Valley, take the Idaho-Maryland Road exit off #49/#20. Turn left at Stop onto  Idaho- Maryland Road. Go 1/4 th mile west to Main Street (signal). Turn right at signal, and follow Main Street to light at intersection with Hughes Road.  Proceed through light, staying on Main Street. Proceed to intersection (light) at Dorsey Drive. Turn right onto Dorsey and go 1 block to Catherine Lane. Turn right onto Catherine Lane. Turn left on the second street onto Glasson Way.  Look for the Healing Rooms sandwich board sign and turn right into the main parking lot. Enter the Main Entrance and find our Receptionist in the corner of the Lobby. Hospital: 530-274-6000 What happens at Healing Rooms? You will be received by the Receptionist and asked to fill out a brief form indicating what you want prayer for. When  there is an opening, you will be invited to a room where two or three trained people will prayer for your need. A friend or family member is welcome to come with you. Each team is comprised of at least one man and one woman. One is the Team Leader. All people on the healing ministry teams are Christians and very likely attend different Christian congregations in our community. Your team leader will ask you about your need and then will guide the small group into praying for healing for you. The Team Leader will ask your permission to be touched (normally hands, arms, head, or shoulders). You will be informed as to what the team will generally pray about. You will not be asked to do anything but to receive the ministry of Jesus Christ for you. We do not know what the Lord Jesus Christ will do for you. We do know what we are going to do. We are going to ask Him to heal you! HEALING STORIES used by permission I have had shaking in my left hand for many years, since childhood. God showed me he made me and loved me as a left-handed 8 year old boy. My shaking has almost disappeared.                                                   Bill, June 2008 I broke my big toe and was not able to step on my foot at all. It was very painful (an 8-9 in pain) and I needed crutches. During ministry, an extreme peace came over me and I began to be able to move my toes. Now I can step on my foot with no pain and I do not need the crutches.                Gabriele, June 2008 Note: Many observed Gabriele walking normally with her crutches carried casually under her arm. Sorrow lifted I was pregnant and my baby lost its heartbeat. I am still going through the physical changes of miscarriage. (After prayer with the healing team) I feel better mentally now. Just knowing that I don't have to hold on to every bad experience, that God is able to lift off a lot of it, is so good. Janelle, September 2008 I have been taking a rigorous treatment for Hepatitis C and have gotten a lot of prayer for healing. I have tested negative for Hep. C - it cannot be detected! God's grace has given me the opportunity to stay on this earth without this illness.                                                          Shannon, September 2008 I was diagnosed with a parasite infection (liver fluke) of the pancreas last week. Although I don't yet feel physically different, I felt a release of peace during the prayer time. Thank you!                 Catherine, August 2008 Freedom from Alcohol I was lost, still obsessed with alcohol. The bottles looked so appealing. I was spiritually bankrupt and mentally anguished. I couldn't image a day without a drink. During the prayer time, God removed my obsession for alcohol. The bottles look like poison now. God has replaced my addiction for alcohol with a craving and desire for a deeper relationship with him.
