[revival-fire] Prophecies, healings, and more!

I know this is a long post, and if you dont' have time, at least read the last paragraph.   So... God has been doing crazy stuff in my life over the last two weeks! I think 2-3 weeks ago I was in the prophecy room for the first time at Club Retro (it was my first time working Retro at all) and it was really slow. I didn't have anyone all night, except one kid came at the end. I spoke a word of knowledge about his lonely childhood, and the hardened heart he got from it. He was amazed, and gave his life to Christ. He came to service the following week, please pray that he continues to come.   THEN! I worked Retro again this week, same place, prophetic room. I had at least 15 people come through during the night, and God was using me like I have never been used before. People were just getting so much revelation through the prophecy. Then this guy at the end of the night came in. I could really tell that he had a good heart, but had been through a lot. Turns out, he used to be a worship leader at another church, but he was kicked out. Why? He was taking modern contemporary worship, and revaming it for a more "dark" sound.   At this point, there were three of us prohesying in the room. It really upset us, considering we all go to FCC, and love Consecrated, a "dark" sounding worship. We really talked it over with him about how God hates religion, and LOVES realness and genuiness and brokeness. He really seemed to get it, and metioned going back to church for the first time in 5 years.   TODAY! Wow... this one caught me really off guard. I thought this was gonna be a normal Sunday, but God had different plans. After church me and Devin Fawcett went job hunting at the Sunrise Mall. On the way in Devin pointed out a guy in a wheelchair; he said he was convicted to pray for him. We were both really unsure, so we hesitated, and went on our way. However, on the way out we saw him again. So we stopped him and his wife and kid. We told him "We believe God can heal you," and his wife was really desperate for an encounter, she really wanted us to pray for him. We layed hands and prayed for about 30 minutes. There was a time where he said he could feel his legs again, but later said the feeling left. We walked away a little disappointed, but I talked to Pastor Jamie afterwards, and he gave me some encoragement.   It got me thinking. At least we stepped out in Faith. We don't have the power to heal, only the Holy Spirit. We stepped out on His promise and waited for Him to deliver. And although He didn't heal the man on the spot, I know He'll be faithful to His promise. And I know we really took a sword to the devil today. The devil isn't scared when we stay in our churches; that's where he wants the Christians. All locked up at home, he doesn't have to deal with us. But the devil is terrified when we bring that encounter to the world. When we let the Holy Ghost live outside of the church. When we say "Hello world, this is our God! He is real! He is powerful! He can heal you! He can do miracles! He can deliver you!" and then we show them who he is, all Satan can do is flee. He has no choice. So let me encourage you, STEP OUT THIS WEEK! Scare the devil.
