Re:[revival-fire] Superhero

******* REVIVAL FIRE!!! *******    

He is our Mighty Warrior King; yet He is tender and compassionate! I was just thinking about a song and vision the Lord gave me several years ago. The Lord started giving me a song late at night; I was in a great deal of physical pain and didn’t want to get out of bed, but the Lord was wooing me. I went out to the living room and brought out my guitar and softly sang what the Lord was giving me. I had to sing softly as I was concerned I would wake up my neighbors!

 

The first words were, “Warrior King, Warrior King, Mighty in battle, Warrior King! Yet you are Tender, filled with Compassion, Tender and Merciful, Mighty King!” At the same time I was receiving the song, I saw a vision of myself sitting by a roadside, broken and bowed over in pain. Our Lord came along on a white horse and He was wearing armor and carrying a sword and shield: Mighty Warrior! Yet, when My King saw me, He got off His horse and knelt down on the ground next to me and tenderly put His hand on my head and ministered to me and spoke loving words to me. More words to the song came and I was able to quietly get it all on tape.

 

I have thought of this often; He is the Mighty Warrior yet very tender. I am weepy tonight as I needed to remember this again, and the Lord reminded me. A favorite scripture of mine says, “Though He lives on High, He condescends to the lowly.” I am so thankful for my Lord Who reaches down to meet us at our point of need!

 

I was going to write something about the blessing I received last Friday night at Family; I could not come up with the words to describe all that God did last Friday night. I was caught up in the Glory very quickly, and He just kept saturating me with His love! It’s all about Him; so I wanted to share about our Superhero instead.
