******* REVIVAL FIRE!!! *******
Blessings to you River/Revival Friends,
Rich Oliver here--overseer of the River, WOW we have covered many subjects and lots of territory over the last few weeks. Most of it very good and very encouraging.
I DO WANT to make a few observations.
First, I want to welcome the many NEW Revival Fire partners that have just joined us this past week--we are thrilled to have you with us, and there will be another posting giving the Practical do's and don'ts of Revival Fire.
So WELCOME and PLEASE both enjoy the posts, let them challenge and encourage you AND be sure to post some of your own thoughts and events.
We now have folks from more than 33 states and a number of other countries on this network .
The key to this NETWORK succeeding IS YOU and that YOU post your thoughts ,events, poems, regional prayer needs, healing, Prophetic Words of regional impact and BREAKTHROUGHS on this network.
All you have to do is type it and post it to revival-fire@hub.xc.org--- you can also send a personal e-mail to the person making the post on Revival fire by hitting reply--- that will NOT be sent out to everyone.
Second, I would like to thank all of you who regularly make posts To Revival Fire and at the same time offer a word of encouragement and perhaps some direction.
Revival Fires primary purpose is not to JUST promote events, although that is one of its many purposes and we welcome all posts of that nature.
Sharing announcements of upcoming activities and conferences is great-- BUT THE BEST IS READING YOUR EXPERIENCES WITH GOD AND WHAT HE IS DOING IN YOUR AREA AND IN YOU.
I strongly encourage you to NOT JUST post announcements of events, but share your heart, what is happening in your region, your fellowship and WHAT WAS THE FRUIT of the event you have been posting.
I also appreciated very much what Pastor Emil Swift shared regarding this forum
"This forum is to be a device where things related to encouraging "revival" amongst our churches and people are to be shared -- and though some people haven't focused on it yet, one of the greatest "revivals" happening today is the transformation of wineskins -- old into new.
These postings -- raw and personal as they are -- are smack dab in the center of this transformation (or "reformation" if you will). It's never wrong to consider larger, spiritual issues within the scope of individual responses to these challenges."
Thanks Emil, good word !!!
Third, -- very important to remember--- We NEVER Sell anything on this forum ! We NEVER solicit Money or donations !
Also--WE never tear down--- a person, a church, --WE ARE HERE TO ENCOURAGE AND BUILD UP.
Finally---SPEAKING OF FRUIT-- I also wanted to mention the powerful REGIONAL anointing and impact from the FRIDAYS ON FIRE night of UNITY AND REVIVAL this past week. You saw us announcing it here on Revival Fire--so here is more of the story.
We hosted right at 250 folks and rejoiced from the first moments of the evening as a powerful MOVE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT SWEPT OVER THE HOUSE.
This had nothing to do with being at FAMILY and I am not blowing our horn-- I am blowing the horn for the Holy Spirit and for all Leaders/Pastors from throughout the region that were here and spoke into Unity and Revival in a ONE VOICE AND IN HIS MIGHT AND POWER.
Thanks to the following:
Pastors Kim and Mary Andersson- Redding areaPastors Dave and Lynn Ross-Galt areaPastors Tim and Kim Kurtz-Yuba City areaPastor Art Defenderfer -Davis AreaPastors Joel and Georgia Pappas-Sacramento areaPastor Wendell McGowan-Redding AreaPastors Mike and Linda Abercrombie--North Coast RegionPastors Keith and Heather Ferrante--Vacaville areaPastors Glenn and Charla Edwards--Willits areaPastors David and Mamie Bronson--ChicoPastors Rich and Lindy and team-- Orangevale, Roseville, Sac areaPastors Matt and Siobhan Oliver-- OrangevaleJohn and Lois Land--Revivalists
They came early and we ate together and fellowshipped and then one after another these men and women stepped up and spoke over this region--SOMETHING POWERFUL BROKE LOOSE THAT NIGHT AND I expect to see much good fruit be harvested. Lindy and I did not get out of the house till around 11:30 pm and there were still many soaking and pressing in and welcoming the MORE of the Holy Spirit. WONDERFUL !!!
Wendell shared.....
Rich,
Thanks for the privilege to stand with such a great diversity of people. What a great night of connecting the region and honoring all that the Lord is doing. Look forward to more of these kind of events. We could sense the spillover this Sunday Morning.
Love and Blessings and still BURNING WITH REVIVAL

"LORD WE ARE WANTING MORE SPILLOVER from all the events and services and meetings and outreaches.
We want revival throughout Northern California-- and the move of Revival Fire across All of California and into Oregon and Washington and Nevada and across the nation.... and the world."
I close this with this excellent short article.
Unity: The Missing Ingredient
from Fuchsia Pickett
Unity attracts people. Everyone wants to be on a united team. The world knows that unity is impossible for people who are bent on making a name for themselves.
We need only look at the current problems among high-paid, superstar athletes to recognize this fact. The world will recognize the difference unity makes to the chaos of personal ambition and one-upmanship.
Living in unity brings a refreshing, revitalizing force to our lives, in part simply because we have been relieved of the tension created by competing with others. But there is also a refreshing because the Lord has promised to command His blessing in the place of unity.
The psalmist ended his description of unity by saying: "For there the Lord commanded the blessing, even life forevermore" (Ps. 133:3, KJV). Unity brings the blessing of the Lord to our lives, and that gives us a foretaste of heaven.
Jesus ended His prayer with the cry, "that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them" (John 17:26, KJV). In this prayer, He expressed His desire that we enjoy relationship with the Father as He knows it, and that we would see His glory. As we learn to walk in unity in the church, we will come to a new revelation of Jesus, and subsequently, of the Father.

TODAY'S PRAYER:
Lord, unify Your church throughout the world. Let us drop all denominational, racial and cultural barriers so we can reflect the heart of the Father to a world that is desperate to see genuine love.
