[revival-fire] cool little praise report...

******* REVIVAL FIRE!!! *******
Hello revival fire family!
So a few weeks ago I brought my friend that goes to my high school (Whitney High School, woot woot) to a "Friday on Fire" meeting at my church. We got so drunk in the spirit, it was awesome! As we were driving home we passed a physic palm reading building in her neighborhood. I was in a very "warrior" state-of-mind. I wanted to go to war! (and I knew the spiritual war I was walking into). So we stopped by the physic building and started claiming our authority in Christ! Then we commanded the Lord's will to be done on this building, we also commanded the demons to leave. Then we left.

That week, all week, that building was on my mind and I was in a constant prayer for the building and the people who enter in that building. Two weeks later, the same friend and I were driving and decided to pray over the building once more. As we did, I felt God's boldness like never before and I felt God in the area. As we left that night, I felt very, very confident.

That next week I drove by the physic building and I saw that it was closed and up for rent! Praise God! His work was definitely done in that situation.

To leave off, I would like to tell you all a little story that I heard and it encouraged me to go out and focus on the little things, not just the big picture. (I am sure many of you have already heard this story but it is always good to hear):

There was a boy on the beach. The beach was covered in starfish. Seeing this, the boy got sad and started saving the starfish's lives by throwing them back in the ocean. A man walked up to the boy, and saw all the starfish. The man asked the boy, "Why are you trying to even save these starfish? You will never save them all." The boy replied, "Yes, I may never save all of them but there is one more saved (as he throws a starfish in the ocean), and another one saved (throws another starfish in)".

This story just encouraged me, as I hope it did to you. Let's rise up, children of God! Let's stop feeling bad for our surroundings and stop looking at the overwhelming truth about them. Let's start looking at the overwhelming truth that our Lord can do anything, and that He wants to use us like never before as vessels to bring complete glory to His kingdom!Let's start focusing on saving one starfish at a time!

We must never seek the power of the Pentecost
without first tasting the suffering of the cross...
Blessings upon your life!!!
Kevin M.
