[revival-fire] Unusual time in church tonight

UNUSUAL MINISTRY TIME

 

As you may recall we just began a new church plant in Newport, South Wales. God has been moving in many ways and the church is steadily growing in presence and numbers. However this night was quite unusual and for some would be actually disconcertingly discombobulated, so to say. But the fact is that the Holy Spirit moved!

 

We had a time of worship and then we had communion and the Holy Spirit manifested; there was a strong presence of God in all the place. Then we had a sort of interactive preaching related to worship. So what is the unusual thing? Ministry happened all along the service, not just during a “special” ministry time, and God used just about whoever was available to minister to those in need. While many were ministering to God in worship and in word, a bunch of others were ministering to those who had a very present need for ministry.

 

Simply put things were happening so fast, and at the same time really all over the place. Suddenly there were still worship going on, and people were touched all over the place and loads were ministered too. It was the Holy Spirit at ease moving at once everywhere. People were released, healed, saved, emotionally soothed, filled with the Holy Ghost, all at once. It was like a massive “disorder” but at all times there was a “synchronizing” of the Holy Spirit taking place so what to some eyes might have looked like messy it was absolutely synchronized and in a sort of harmonic wave!

 

Awesome Holy Spirit we praise you!

 

I believe what the Holy Ghost is showing us is that the idea of every good thing, and all ministry instances happening from and around the platform is simply out of order. The real order of the Holy Spirit is the harmony of ministry achieved when He is at ease and given freedom to move “as He pleases”.

 

OCTOBER NEWS

 

For some reason we could not get through to the list with the latest information emails, so I am here resending one of them.

 

We will be, God willing in the West Coast mid/late October. We will continue with the message God put in our hearts re: Releasing yourself into God’s move. God is pressing the body of Christ to bring her to the realization that the biggest hindrance to revival lies not in our circumstances but is to be found within us; we need to be released from our own selves if God is going to use us. Before he healed the physical ailment of the woman who was bent over by disease He declared her loose from it. There is a powerful action of the Holy Spirit needed in us, an action of loosening, releasing, and delivering us into His plans before He can effectively use us. This is the message God planted in our hearts, like Moses before Pharaoh a cry is needed: Let my people go! But it is not Satan who is to blame always; actually an awful lot of the stuff we blame on the devil is purely of our own concoction! The devil cannot stop you, delay you or hinder you because he has no authority over you; but you have authority to stop yourself. Don’t! Release yourself from yourself and into His plans.
