[revival-fire] Another response to the S.F. Word

******* REVIVAL FIRE!!! *******
I sent Matthew an email, but now I just want to add a few points about words, prophets and natural disasters.

1. God never required one of His prophets with a word of judgment to move to that city and make a difference - when someone says that such a "Prophet of Doom" better be willing to do so, then it sounds like they are in the defensive mode.

2. We say about miracles, healings, signs and wonders (to the skeptics) "if God has done those things in the past then we believe He can do them again if He wants" - then the same needs to be said about God's ability to use natural disasters to bring degrees of judgment on regions that have consistently sinned and rebelled against God and rejected the message of repentance - IF HE CHOOSES TO. - NOT ALL "Storms" are forms of judgment - but He is the same YESTERDAY, Today AND FOREVER - so If He wants to - He Can! - This is a last resort - when the "cup is full" - but not outside the realm of possibility because the winds and the waves obey His voice - satan does not control nature!

3. Who's responsible? - THEY ARE! Every human being is responsible for how they themselves chose to respond to the Holy Spirit's tugging on their hearts. The Church is not responsible for HOW they respond - we are only responsible for clearly proclaiming message of repentance & salvation - I have lived in New England and here in the Pacific Northwest, and I will tell you that there are regions where the people have hardened their hearts/ruled by religious spirits and traditions of men - and there are areas where the people are more open to the message of hope and life! - It's the SAME MESSAGE - BUT there are different types of soil in different areas. - Sodom's "soil" was very different from Ninevah's "soil" as seen in the PEOPLE'S response to the Word of Judgment.

YES - THE HYPOCRISY and POWERLESSNESS in many churches have had a negative impact on many, but there have been many good witnesses all across this nation - and even more today - so that anyone truly seeking the truth would be able to find genuine followers of Jesus without too much effort.
Jesus commanded us to "make disciples" - not "make converts" because only the Holy Spirit can convict the heart and convert the soul.
